Every time I woke up, I used to rush to the bathroom, hastily grabbing a snack on my way out, and hurrying to work because I was already late. This had been my typical morning routine for as long as I could remember. However, one day, I made a life-changing decision to adopt the millionaire's morning routine.

Recognizing that the morning is the most crucial part of the day, I understood the need to organize my mornings better. Initially, it was challenging to adjust to the new routine, as I was a night owl by nature. However, after a few days, I managed to align my sleeping schedule, waking up promptly and meditating effectively.

Incorporating a quick workout before showering helped me feel more in touch with my body, shaking off the morning grogginess. Additionally, I experimented with taking cold showers, which, despite sounding intimidating, helped awaken both my body and mind, making me feel refreshed.

The aspect I cherished most about the millionaire's morning routine was creating to-do lists. It became immensely fulfilling and motivating. Eventually, I expanded it to include separate lists for personal goals, work tasks, a "to-feel" list, and a "to-be" list. The practice helped me grow as a person and brought me closer to becoming the best version of myself.

Another valuable addition to my routine was writing morning pages—expressing my thoughts freely on paper, helping me discover and address personal issues. This practice enhanced my mental well-being and boosted my confidence.

As the month-long experiment concluded, I realized how transformative the experience had been. It opened my eyes to numerous possibilities and solutions I hadn't noticed before. Even after the experiment, I maintained the routine and added a few personal rules:

Gratitude journal: I embraced writing down things I was grateful for, fostering positivity and appreciation in my life.

Hydration: I started each day with a glass of water to wake up my digestive system and prevent overeating.

Everyone's morning routine is unique, so it's essential to craft one that makes you a better person and aligns with your goals and lifestyle.
