The very nature of life is Change. Seasons go and come, day turns into night and young grows to old. Therefore, everything is not going to stay the same as we grow and change in life.

We just need to be patient and be open-minded to these changes. The challenges, the pain and all the tribulations are all process of finding our purpose and self-worth.

As human, we hardly get to leave our comfort zone and explore. So, the universe tries to shake our little bubble and give us the push, sometimes it can be a big shove, to continue changing and learning more about our purpose and what is intended for us.

This prevents you from settling for just anything in life. Also, striving through challenges makes you feel you have earned everything in life and you accept more blessings.

If nothing seems to be going right with you lately, here is 10 tips to help you through.

1. Pain is Growth

When everything is going wrong and you think everything is falling apart around you, you need to tell yourself there is no gains without some struggle.

Growing is inevitable aspect of human life.

Your physical maturity can be overwhelming but we can all agree the greatest toil cones from emotional, spiritual and mental development.

Dealing with tough predicament often shake us up and causes tremendous amount of pain especially mental strain which often lead to overthinking and anxiety. These are the moments that forces us to grow up, reflect on our decisions and align more with our goals.

The darkest and desolate times in our life sometimes forces us to be creative and imaginative which condition us to make great choices and create a way out of overwhelming situations. You need to utilize the pains you go through to factor a course of action which will in turn foster your development and growth.

2. Trust Your Process

Life is full of ups and downs. When everything is going wrong, you need to trust the process and rely on your actions. Do what needs to be done in order for you to grow out of the shambles. Be patient while at it.

You will need to trust the process in which you are taking to actualize your goals and dreams. Earlier said, growth is a painful process. We just need to believe the process is all worth it and it will propel you to a better place in life.

Trusting a process means you are putting in the right action and involving the right decision in the equation. Your actions as thoughts must align with your goals in order to get the right results.

You can not make the same mistakes that landed you in a bad situation while trying to get out of it. You will need to learn ton avoid such mistakes and take a fresh solutions out of a worse situation.

Therefore, trust the process you take when everything is going wrong in order to make significant changes in your life. Change does not come overnight but it is a gradual process.

3. Not Everything is Going Wrong

You may think “everything is going wrong in my life” or even ask “why is everything going wrong” and dwell on such thoughts for a long time. In actual sense, you’re losing focus and dwelling on the miniature problem in your life.

To get rid of negative thoughts, you will need to see the bigger picture and take in everything in your life as one. Be grateful for other aspects in your life that is going well, still right and you’ve never had to struggle to earn.

This way, you will appreciate yourself despite the struggles and look for ways to prevent or ease damages incurred. The mind is a powerful tool in human life. Whatever you perceive with it, you will be pushed to accomplish with sheer will.

Therefore, always see the bigger picture and dwell on the solutions instead of problems. Let your energy flows into providing solutions, let them provide changes needed and them help you to persevere the hard times.

4. Acceptance

You need to accept some situations if nothing seems to be going right with you. This is a hard thing to do but accepting a bad situation is one step to overcoming it.

It only makes you human to have a bad or several bad moments and it takes only the strong willed to accept such and move on with life.

When you accept everything going on in your life, you take away the power it has over you and give yourself control over it. Because accepting the bad situations is acknowledging you’ve had better days and will have better days ahead regardless of what’s happening now.

5. Remember Past Feat

As an established fact, human mind is a strong tool but we sometimes engage it in feeble acts. You need to work your mind muscles to make it stronger in order to overcome the negativity that comes with overwhelming circumstances.

When everything is going wrong and you can’t see the way out. You might need to take a breather and recognize your strength through past Feats.

The same you that failed that job interview is the same you that aced all their examinations. You’re only going through a bad timing and nothing else. Therefore, do not dwell on that failure, remember the whiz in you and relax.

If you need to regroup and go through moments that led up to that situation, then you should do that. Reflecting on actions can build up the courage you need to conquer a bad situation.

6. Self-Care is Important

Take care of yourself no matter the situation in life. Everything might be down lately and you can’t seem to figure it out or get over it but you don’t have to go down with everything.

You have been focused on everything and everyone else except yourself. You need to relax, rewind, and love yourself despite the whole situation surrounding you. Appreciate all the efforts you’ve put in place to reach such point in life.

It is Time to Treat Yourself Well

Self-care comes in the simplest form of self-love. Just waking up and looking in the mirror and smile at your reflection while saying kind words to kickstart your day is self-care.

Self-care is the remedy to self-doubt and self-loathing. These two are rather inevitable as things are going awry. Self-care also motivated us into filtering negative thoughts and feelings out of our head.

Therefore, incorporate self-care into your daily routine and see the changes it brings into your life. You will handle things differently and moments that usually send you into abyss will not even phase you.

7. Faceless Opinions Doesn’t Matter

Don’t judge your situations based on opinions of others. The situations you go through, the things you engage in and the actions you take everyday should be solely a reflection of yourself and own reasons.

Faceless Opinionated Voices does not Matter in Your Life.

Pleasing people around you or faceless voices on your current situation does more harm than good. You will be led to believe you are not good enough, the problem is you and worse, you will be pushed to do extremely dangerous things.

Always avoid listening to everyone’s opinions. What worked for them can not work for you and what does for you might not be to their understanding. As long as you belief in yourself and the process then other people’s opinion don’t matter.

8. Worrying is not the Solution

When everything is going wrong in life and there’s no solution in sight, worrying is the least form of solution. Worrying over situations out of your control can only dampen your mood and cause anxiety.

Worrying only causes extreme emotional damages to us and affect our mental health. Worrying makes you stagnant and overthink everything. It is a time-consuming and mind numbing act that doesn’t improve your situation.

Therefore, declutter your mind through meditation and logically view the situation in order to get the necessary solutions needed. Also, worrying will make you think there’s no solution in sight and will drag you down.

Worrying is inevitable as breathing is to human. We can only manage how we dwell on it and the perspective we choose to see it from.

9. Seize Control

With everything happening today, you need to seize control over your life and claim responsibility for it whether it is all roses or thorny side of the garden.

Take Charge of Who You Want to Be Regardless of the Situation.

Seizing control doesn’t entail blaming and self-loathing about every possible thing in your life.

This means you accept things for what they are now as part of growing up and part of your dream actualization. You seize opportunities to correct your mistakes, build on what you have started and progress on the goals you have established.

10. Ask for Help

No man is an island of knowledge and no man can handle it all alone sometimes. When things are going wrong and you’ve tried everything yet nothing is working out then it’s time to seek help.

Asking for help doesn’t make you weak and foolish, it shows that you’re brave to know when the solutions are elsewhere and not within your control.

You’re Brave and Smart When You Seek Professional Guidance.

It will be egoistic to know that you need help and refuses to ask for it. Most especially, when you know the third party is willing or readily available to assist you. Being assisted does not take away your rights off the accomplishments nor does it make you less human.

Therefore, always ask for help whenever you need to. Seeking professional advice in some areas in your life which have been overwhelming and tremendously difficult will help you to kickstart your journey to healing and progress.

Bonus Tip: Move Your Body

Move your body by walking around your apartment or dancing without rhythm in your room for some minutes. If you can step out, take a walk in the morning and evening to clear your head. Walk in the parks and natural places can be healing.

Always allow in natural air and light into your room. Therapists recommend that natural light helps to boost your mood and kickstart you into feeling more confident.

Move Your Body For Few Minutes During the Day to Release Stress.

Moving your body should be easy and do what works for you. Just don’t stay in one place and mope all day. Morning and evening walks are notorious for clearer head and insane genius ideas have been formed on walks.

Take that as a cue to move your body and overcome your circumstances in the process.

Everyone goes through tough time and tough situations but some never learn to get out of with their sanity intact.
