What kind of business is it that makes people invest all their money without hesitation? What kind of factory is it, with very few workers in and out of it, yet it is well organized? What was the scene that made visitors exclaim novelty? Feng Qiping, an entrepreneur in Chengmai County, Hainan province, has the answer: grow mushrooms and build a mushroom factory.

Last year, Feng Qiping invested 10 million yuan in Jinjiang town, Chengmai County to build a modern workshop covering an area of more than 4,000 square meters, the use of fully automated production lines to do Xiuzhen mushroom, Pleudodes eryngo planting. Less than a year later, his mushroom business was firmly established and broke into the market.

Invest all your money in a "Mushroom factory"

In Jinjiang town aquaculture and catering industry boundary said Feng Qiping, almost no one knows. This humble young man, born in the 1980s, has built one of the largest White Lotus goose breeding bases in the region.

But last year, this star farmer in Chengmai County found a new business opportunity. "Once I saw on TV that some people in Anhui Province had made mushrooms into a 100-million-yuan industry, and my interest was immediately aroused." Feng Qiping then went to Anhui alone to learn how to grow mushrooms and decided to grow mushrooms in Chengmai on a large scale.

In Chengmai, where mushroom farming has yet to take place on a large scale, building factories and equipment to build a large-scale industry requires not only a big investment but also risk. To this end, Feng Qiping will "all the money" 10 million yuan into the mushroom planting base construction, but also invited Anhui when the teacher, tailored an automated mushroom production line.

"The machinery within the scope of the farm machinery purchase subsidy is not up to the requirements, the traditional bacteria packaging ingredients are not suitable for the local, the factory construction process, all of his own money." Speaking of his students, Mr. Cheng, now the factory's technical director, also praised Mr. Feng's boldness.

Growing Mushrooms by clicking your phone at home

The mushroom planting base in Tianjin Village, a mountain pass responsibility area in Jinjiang Town, may seem like a neat factory building to outsiders, but the nature of the plant is surprising to many people who have been engaged in agricultural production: From the cultivation of bacteria to the production of bacteria package, from the temperature control to the growth process, the planting base has realized the computer control of the production link, even Feng Qiping himself laughed, "at home, you can complete the production of mushrooms by phone".

Raw materials with fixed proportion and ratio, automatic production line of bacteria packaging, dozens of cultivation rooms at constant low temperature, video monitoring of mushroom growth, and manual participation in the picking process. In fact, in 2015, when the provincial Department of Agriculture organized the investigation of the Flammulina online industry in Xiamen Ruyi Group, the delegation was deeply impressed by its advanced automatic production line. Now Feng Qiping's "mushroom factory" has a similar production line.

Feng Qiping said that different from the traditional planting methods, the modern mechanized way of growing Xiuzhen mushroom and Pleuinus eryngii not only has a longer shelf life, is almost not affected by the climate environment, but also has more stable quality, has a market advantage.

At present, Feng Qiping's production line can produce 2,000 to 3,000 jin of Xiuzhen mushroom and Pleuinus eryngii, including 6 yuan per jin of Xiuzhen Ru and 5 yuan per jin of apricot Baru, with a daily output value of 16,000 yuan to 20,000 yuan. The 21 cold storage and 6 greenhouses built by the factory can also meet the current production.

"We used to provide technical services to farmers, but now we have to learn production techniques in factories." Jinjiang town agricultural technology extension service center staff Xu Qiwu laughed.

We will strive to build modern agricultural demonstration bases

Now the "mushroom factory" has made achievements, Feng Qiping also set a "small target" for himself: "strive to double the scale again, and build a modern agricultural demonstration base."

The "mushroom factory" is more than just producing mushrooms. A large part of the raw materials used to make bacteria packets come from the scraps of agricultural and sideline products, which exert their value to the greatest extent. After picking the bacteria package, it is a nutrient-rich farm fertilizer. Feng Qiping delivered it to farmers in the way of half selling and half giving, which turned waste into treasure at both ends of the production link and started circular agriculture. "Even the mountain Pass green pomelo planting base next door uses our organic fertilizer." Feng Qiping said with a smile.

With the benefits of mushroom planting, Feng Qiping was not satisfied with the current situation. He rented the bamboo forest around the planting base and built a greenhouse for mushroom planting outside the factory by taking advantage of the cool bamboo forest. "The bamboo forest is planted neatly. In the future, we plan to turn the base into an open agricultural sightseeing park, where bamboo shoots and mushrooms are collected to respond to the construction of whole-region tourism!"

In addition, under the guidance of the Jinjiang Town government, Feng also registered the establishment of Hainan Yipin Biotechnology Co., LTD., and plans to use the form of "company + cooperative" this year to let poor households join in mushroom farming, radiating the development of agriculture around.

As more and more people learned about the "mushroom factory", farmers began to come to them for help. Feng Qiping not only provided free guidance but also provided bacteria packets to farmers. Feng Qiping said that the provincial mushroom market is still in short supply, he also set up sales stalls in Haikou, until the industry grows, but also to go to the province to rush!
