Do Soulmates and Twin Flames really exist?

The Science behind it

Before I get into my beliefs and what not. Let me dive into if Soulmates and Twin Flames actually exist. As in, is there any "Scientific" evidence that Soulmates and Twin Flames exist.

Let's first take a look at Soulmates. Take into consideration how many billions of people are in this world. Half of us don't even go out that much to be able to interact with human life.

If a Soulmate is one person that you're meant to be with, well good luck with that. This is one way to look at it - not how I view it.

Few Scientist do what they do best and test this theory out. Now they all go about this differently, but the one that stood out to me was a study Sue Johnson, an Ottawa- based psychologist - had explained.

This study performed fMRI scans on brains of women who were in a happy relationship. Most people think when they are so happy they must have found their soulmate right?

Well in this study they would have them holding their partners hands and then show them things that would spark a forthcoming threat.

They also did this with women who were in an unhappy relationship. The lady's that were happy barely had a stress reaction.

The ones that were not happy saw that their stress levels spiked, holding their loved ones hand or not. Note that even when the happy women were not holding their loved ones hands their results didn't change much.

Some could take this as...

Well okay, but the unhappy women don't trust their partners so they don't feel safe and that is why their brain scans would spike.

Exactly, with every relationship there has to be trust. If there is no trust, then where is the security? Shouldn't a Soulmate bring security, make you feel safe, feel loved?

Even when you're faced with danger or anything that could trigger anxiety. I know from experience I would be filled with anxiety when I was close to someone I had loved but had problems with.

Now if Soulmates exist, then Twin Flames have to be real too right?

First off I want to say when it comes to science and spirituality. I do believe they intertwine with one another. I will get more into that later, but first scientists have this theory of Quantum Entanglement.

This is a physical phenomenon. It is when a group of particles are generated, interact, or share proximity where each particle can't be described independently of the other.

Theory's, a word I been just throwing around here like hot cakes, but let's go back like WAY back. To the Big Bang and the Quantum Entanglement.

Here's a paragraph straight from the great wiki-

"The Law of conservation of mass or principle of mass conservation states that for any system closed to all transfers of matter and energy, the mass of the system must remain constant over time, as system mass cannot change quantity if it is not added or removed. Hence, the quantity of mass is "conserved" over time. The law implies that mass can neither be created nor destroyed, although it may be rearranged in space, or the entities associated with it may be changed in form."

Stay tuned for my next article explaining the hystory of Twin Flames and if you are in a realationship with yours. Or if you had already came encounter with your other half.

I'd love to hear your opinion on the matter, please don't be shy and let me know in the comments.

This was an engaging and thought provoking piece! I really appreciate your insights and sharing your research! I personally don't really follow or believe in the idea of soulmates, I more believe in the idea that choices and manifestation is what makes someone feel like they are meant for you. You both choose to be together and make each other a priority and that's what makes it magical! Just my opinion though!
