Demonolatry is the worship and veneration of demons. Demonolatrist see demons as guides and teachers as well as protectors. Demons to us are neither good or evil, but a shade of grey. There are many demons to choose a counterpart from. A counterpart demon is the demon you choose that you do the most work with. You can work with any demon you choose, but your counterpart is the demon who resonates with you the most, so he or she is the demon you work with most.
Some people misunderstand Demonolatry. They believe all Demonolatrist are people who murder, do curses for no reason, and are full of hate. This is far from the truth. Demonolatrist do not condone murder. We believe we must have a good reason for doing curses. And we respect everyone regardless of their faith or background. When people think of demons they think of beings who hate all mankind or people who do not follow them. But the truth is that demons really have no problem with us. And they adore us whether we worship them or not.
Some people are afriad of demons. They believe demons hurt every living being on the planet. Demons are relatively harmless. There is a difference between demons and devils.
Demons- Divine being replete with wisdom that are neither good nor evil.
Devils- Melevolent beings that can be dangerous.
Many people associate Satan as being molevelent. To my own belief, he is also a shade of grey. He is the ruler of it all.
Honoring Demons
There are many ways to honor demons but I'm going to go over some ways I know on how to honor them. You can give offerings of different kinds, do some rituals, pray or meditate.
Offerings- Giving an offering each day is a good way to honor your demons. Each demons should have their own altar space. Each demon should have their own altar bowl and the altar and supplies should be consecrated about once a month. You should run the tools through frankincense. If you can not use incense you can use a flameless oil burner and frankincense oil.
You can give offerings to different demons of different kinds. With Lucifer you can give vanillaincense or oil as well as chocolate or wine. Naamah will take candles, even led candles, or chocolate, fruit, or wine. Naamah will even like you to play music for her as an offering. You can give poetry to demons, art, menstral blood ( or stick your finger with a lencelet), cakes or bread, tabacco, and even beer. Remember that Demonolatrist never kill or sacrifice a living being to the demons. You can even draw the demons sigil as an offering and either bury it or burn it.
Mediation- A lot of Demonolatrist like to mediate. They can use prayer beads, mala's, or just sit and relax. You can sit in the dark or light candles. Even using led candles will do the trick. It all aligns with the intention of the practitioner. If you light a white led candle for prayer and focus on meaningful prayer than it will be meaningful to the demon.
Prayer- Demonolatrist who pray pray to demons for a lot of different things. They pray prayers of praise and thanks, or ask for a specific need. It's imporant not to be demoanding during prayers. This will lead to no support at all. No one likes to be ordered around, most certainly not a demon. Respectful prayer goes a long way and will lend you all the help that you need.
Conclusion- So I'm summary, Demonolatry is the honoring of demons. Be respectful of the demons you choose to honor and you will be blessed with all you truly need.
