THE JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILE STARTS FROM A STEP

K.N Peter (Candidate)

Part of my journey and what I am doing today, started from Aba, Abia state to Absu.

I came into Absu in the year 2013 where I joined Senate house theatre, a drama arm of the redeemed campus fellowship worshipping at old law block and became popular then as a good actor.

Years later, I was privileged to anchor one of their events "EVENT 6" an annual drama night which almost all fellowships in Absu participated at different venue in the campus.

Event 6 took place in Absu Auditorium, had a lot of crowd and presented the best live stage drama directed by me with the support of some senior friends. Not trying to hype, according to witnesses then, event 6 was one of the best drama night hosted in Absu. That very script gave us tuff time but when handed over to me, I had to review, shared ideas with the original writer, sat in round table with some senior friends and restructured the story before it gave us what we needed, from the genre to the setting.

Time flies and I realize I am better of a writer than an actor, so, I went fully into writing.

After I left Absu, I still continued cos I saw future in what I was doing rather than what I studied. "Its one thing to chose a career and another thing to know your talent. Talent is inborn, what you can do best. I chose science for a reason but realized everything in me is art and I never gave up.

KALU PETER NDEM

Today, I am doing it and having the audacity to make a world history as the first and pioneer for the title, world youngest screenwriter, a record nobody in the world have ventured into according to GWR team and believing everything is possible.

Thank you all for all your supports, shares, reposts and words of encouragement. God bless us
