We are used to seeing these varieties of floral arrangements on an office desk or in somebody’s hand with a birthday balloon attached. Our senses almost become dull to these types of creations over time simply because we have seen them on so many occasions.

But then there is that unexpected moment when something fresh and exhilarating catches our floral-vision sensors. A floral creation that makes us stop and take notice because of its combination of uniqueness and creativity that is rarely seen. If you have had such a moment in life then there is a good chance that you have seen the work of Alina Tacmelova.

In 2011, as the wheels of the passenger jet from Russia that Alina Tacmelova was flying on touched the ground, there was excitement and anxiousness surrounding her as she was about to begin her new life. Canada represented a lot of new opportunities for her and she knew it but getting started was going to be a challenge.

Fast forward to today, Alina and her husband now own a 15,000 square foot flower shop that is highly respected in the Toronto, Canada area. Her talent and expertise are sought out by many due to her impressive ability to bring floral designs to a level rarely seen. Since so many people have taken notice of her talents, her fame and popularity continue to spread rapidly. But how did she transform her business and notoriety into what it is today?

The answer lies in her ability to think outside the normal realm of floral design and give her customers more than just a bouquet of flowers but actually a living, vibrant piece of art. Alina has a keen sense of what people are looking for and has the talent to bring it to reality.

She has also learned over the years to seek out other people who are experts in the industry to expand her knowledge. Having an amazing natural ability to create fascinating floral designs is great but building on top of that with the expertise of other famous floral designers is like adding icing to the wedding cake.

In order to provide the best to her customers, Alina Tacmelova realized that she had to surround herself with the best.

That is when she stepped out and invited the world-famous floral designer Karen Tran in 2013 to be a speaker at a local wedding convention in Toronto. The event was very successful and led to the organization of a master training class taught by Karen in both Toronto and Montreal in which Alina had the opportunity to be Karen’s personal assistant. An added bonus to the training class was that it was featured in Elegant Wedding Magazine which is a popular Canadian-based publication. This was a huge leap forward for Alina in both experience and building her own personal brand.

Alina’s reputation as an expert in her field continued to grow and others took notice. It wasn’t long until she was able to put in a request at WedLuxe Magazine to invite another famous floral designer by the name of Maria Kamenskaya to the WedLuxe Wedding Show.

This was a huge success as it gave Alina another opportunity to work alongside a respected colleague in the wedding venue design field. This also opened a door with WedLuxe Magazine to let them take notice of Alina’s talents as well as establish a trusting professional relationship with each other.

By constantly applying her amazing talents in floral design, Alina’s business has expanded rapidly and her unique skills continue to impress. Her abilities to go above and beyond the norm of a typical florist shop have propelled her to a position in the industry that few ever obtain.

We can’t wait to see where Alina Tacmelova goes in the future and know that wherever it is, her unequivocal understanding of creating works of art with her floral designs will always be admired and appreciated.
