Everyone knows that it can be very hard to run a business. However, if you add a family to the list, it just makes it that much harder. Some days, you won't be able to get much done, while other days you can get a lot done. This will help to balance it out.

That being said, it can be quite a struggle to find a balance between your home and business. Here are some tips to help you find that balance.

You need to find time for yourself. I know that you have a lot on your plate and finding time for yourself seems ridiculous. However, it would be a mistake if you don't find time to take care of yourself, even with work, housework, and your family. You will end up running yourself ragged and possibly get sick.

Nothing gets done when mom isn't feeling well. You won't have as much time to work on your business. You could get behind on your housework. Your family may suffer, so it is important to find time to rest and take care of yourself!

Get help. You don't have to be the only one to do everything around your home. Your husband can help out with cleaning and laundry. If your children are old enough, they may be able to switch the laundry for you.

Someone else can cook dinner (or use a crock pot). Your children can set the table and help to clear it afterward. They can help with any pets that you may have. They can feed the dog or the cat and even take the dog outside to play.

Spend quality time with your family. Unfortunately, it can be really hard to shut down your brain. Even when you aren't working, your mind may be thinking about the things that you didn't get done today or what you have to do tomorrow.

However, as a mom, you need to make sure that you spend time with your family. Leave your work behind and enjoy your family. Eat dinner together. Play outside afterward. Spend the weekends doing fun things together, making memories.

Use uninterrupted time wisely. You should do everything that you can when you have uninterrupted time. Take advantage of nap time and when your children are in school. You may even want to think about getting a sitter, so you can make your phone calls in private.

You are going to want to have a plan in place for when you have uninterrupted time. Keep a running tab of the tasks that you need to do, as well as the ones that you can only do when you can focus your entire attention on.

Get organized. The truth is that you can't work if you aren't organized. You can't have clutter all of your desk. You won't be able to find the things that you need to get your tasks done. Instead, you will waste precious time searching for supplies.

You also need to have an organized schedule. Make sure that you have a list of tasks in order of importance. A calendar will also you keep yourself on task. You will be able to see your deadlines, which can help you keep yourself going.

Being a mom entrepreneur can be wonderful. This is especially true if you are able to work from home around your children. You can work around your children's schedule, instead of having to take time off of work to take your children to the doctor. You will be able to work before and after the appointment.

That being said, it can be really hard. You need to stay organized and utilize the time that you have (both at work and with your family). It is worth it though!
