For a lot of the big youtubers it was years until they started to build a very big audience. Most youtubers say that the first 100 subscribers is the hardest. As long as you are dedicated and willing to persevere you may reach your goal, but it will definitely take time.

Of course videos are very important, but the thumbnail and title are what are going to attract people to your video. The main thing to remember is to make them relate to your video while also making them attractive. Some youtubers have publicly stated that they have had videos where people have commented saying the video was brilliant but the views were less than others with better thumbnails and titles.
