What's a Side Hustle?

A side hustle can be either a second or part-time employment that happens on the side of a regular, full-time job. Or it could be just something you do to make ends meet on top of what you're already doing (work, raising kids, college..), not necessarly a job.

Basically, it's anything you do to earn EXTRA money and an income.

Side hustles can be life SAVING. Believe me, if it's wasn't for side hustling, I could never have started my small businesse(s)and side income. 

Why a Side Hustle?

There are many GOOD reasons to incite you to have or create a side hustle. Here are some of those reasons:

• Necessity. Because unfortunately sometimes you need help to make ends meet.

• To pay off your debt, morgage and loans FASTER.

• To start or test a small business idea.

• To RETIRE sooner. (one of my fav reasons!!)

• To monetize your hobbies.

• To not let your talents and skills go to WASTE.

• To afford your dreams of luxurious things.

• To bring in extra money for your travel adventures.

A side job can help you pay down or pay off debt or, help you pay your students loans. 1- Selling your services & talents at Taskrabbit 

If you're handy, love staying active and doing manual work or even shopping!! (or need instant money and a second income)

 One of the EASIEST ways to make money fast. You can offer your services for small gigs and simple daily TASKS to people who have neither the time nor the willingness to do them. Taskrabbit has TONS of jobs listed in each area, and an endless list of FUN projects. I assure you, you WILL find something that appeals to you. 

The pay is amazing too!! You can set your prices for as high as you think the task is hard (think $30–45 per hour!!).

This a great side hustle to make extra cash from the comfort of your home.

• Respondant (definitely the best, has lots of studies and is international!! Offers also 3 options: focus groups, phone calls and video calls)

Tip: You can't participate in every study but don't be discouraged. Sometimes you will have to wait up to 2 months, but then you'll get picked for 2 to 4 studies at once, to possibly make $1200 dollars in a couple of days!! Just keep checking!

10 - Sell Instagram Shoutouts

If you love Instagram and have a considerable following or are willing to build one!!

Brands and businesses - big or small - love Instagram as a marketing platform for their products and services, and for good reason since it brings lots of traffic and helps them make money.

This side hustle is perfect for Instagram lovers, though you can only make good money with it, if you have a considerable following.

This side hustle is in my opinion an amazing way to both make money AND save money. Instead of always buying new stuff, anytime you need something that you know you will not use a lot or only temporarly, you can just rent it at places like FatLama or Ruckify. But you can also rent YOUR own stuff and this is how this side hustle will be making you money.

If you're passionate about photography, there are tons of things you can do to make money with this side hustle. This is also a side hustle that can become a real profitable business if you're willing to put a small amount of work.

Where & How?

• Sell your photos at Shutterstock, Adobe Stock or apps like Foap,and Dreamstime.
• Hire as a freelance photographer at Fiverr or Upwork.
• Start a photography membership website with either Podia, Sendowl or for free with Systeme where you offer a number of "niche" specific photos every month to subscribers.
• Open a photography online store with Format (you can use this also as your portfolio for free)

Oh and of course, it all starts by creating a blog!!

If you like to watch videos and have a good ear

Most video creators now want or need captions for their videos (especially youtubers), and this is your way to making money. As a Captioner, your job will be to watch the video and listen carefully, then caption everything that has been said.

This side hustle can make you earn up to $75 per hour and quickly become a lucrative source for an extra income (or even your main work at home job!!).
