The air had felt different, the night, was it colder to them? The feeling in the air wanted the to hide under their covers. They knew of the dangers if tradition not followed, but who could believe in it? They were just a younger couple that made it rougher on them and those around. They didn't mean to be. The feeling of fear consumed them into themselves. They lived, so evil through the year thinking only God can judge. Never thought they would worry another into their dreams, never to think they could scare the worst to defend itself.

"Push the tree closer this way!" She smiled.

"Didn't think we would make it." He laughed back.

"Yeah, but with this sexy ass." She laughed "We did."

"Oh yeah, year feeling all around." He said. "How did we meet?"

"By the devil's left hand."

The new couple, the new house. They had made it through thick and thin. A lot thought a year wasn't enough to hold them. They did though a feeling far off they were in love. They almost made it through they thought. Then it happened. The first date and a year later, almost they were moving in together. Christmas was almost here. They kept reminiscing on the Thanksgiving tradition and decision.

"Never, will regret." He smiled.

" Yes, sir. I've finished unpacking." She said gleefully.

The night went as planned to the. Eve was finally hear for Christmas and they could, finally sleep. They had no children to worry upon. The life they needed to have in this world. They still lay naked in bed from the day. The day was over, it was time for peaceful sleep. The chimney light back up to them. The fire burned bright blue in the night.

"I'll put it out." He said."

"Quick, my eyes." She hollered.

"I'm running." He smiled.

He made it into the other room. It was light, he couldn't help, but laugh. The safety he took in things he thought. Now it was time to put it out. He filled some water up in a bucket. He dosed the thing if he thought. It was to much to stay lit. The blue flame stayed alive in the fire.

"Hey, it's not going out!" He cried back to hear, but heard silence.

She came running out of the room past him, fully clothed. There was a dark spaced the new evil through out. She was terrified beyond here mind.

"The walls." She shrieked.

The feeling over came them. He knew he had to fight back. It was to powerful to fight. He knew this from earlier with the fire. The monster whispered.

"Hear me?"

It was scary to the like unbelievable, They had no clue from it all. The house started to transfer in their eyes. They say its horns in the shadows. They felt fear from the creature. He hit it and leid the beast down with a stocking of coal, while she took the candy cane broken and stabbed the beast in its side. She began to cry wile the shadow came upon her. He started to rub her belly while the fireworks came into the sky and time slipped away from them .

"We have made it!" He smiled!

"Yes, we have." She laughed "All three of us."

They weren't for sure what happened, but they knew he was gone. The darkness they could feel all around them. Carrying it with them in life, they wanted to get rid of it, but why get rid of a gift you worked hard all year for.
