Once upon a time, in a small town nestled deep within the forest, there was a grand mansion. The mansion had been abandoned for years, and the townspeople avoided it like the plague. It was rumored that the mansion was cursed, and that anyone who dared to enter would never return.

But one day, a group of young people decided to explore the mansion. They were thrill-seekers, and the thought of exploring an abandoned mansion was too tempting to resist. They didn't believe in curses or ghosts, and they were determined to uncover the secrets of the mansion.

As they approached the mansion, they couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. The mansion was old and dilapidated, with vines creeping up the walls and the windows boarded up. The front gate creaked open, and they stepped inside.

The mansion was dark and musty, and the only source of light was the moonlight filtering in through the boarded-up windows. They made their way through the foyer and into the grand hallway. The walls were lined with portraits of the mansion's previous occupants, all of whom had long since passed away.

Suddenly, they heard a noise coming from upstairs. It sounded like footsteps. They looked at each other nervously, but they were determined to press on. They climbed the stairs, and as they did, the footsteps grew louder.

At the top of the stairs, they found themselves in a long corridor. The doors to the various rooms were all closed, and they could feel a sense of unease emanating from behind each one. They tried the first door, but it was locked. They tried the second, and the third, but they were all locked as well.

Finally, they came to the last door at the end of the corridor. The door was slightly ajar, and they could see a faint light emanating from within. They pushed the door open, and what they saw inside made their blood run cold.

The room was filled with cobwebs and dust, and in the center of the room was an old wooden chair. Sitting in the chair was a skeletal figure, dressed in a tattered gown. The figure's eyes glowed red in the darkness, and as they approached, they could see that the figure's mouth was open, as if it was screaming in agony.

Suddenly, the figure stood up and began to move towards them. They tried to run, but the figure was too fast. It chased them down the corridor, its bony fingers reaching out to grab them. They stumbled and fell, and as they looked up, they saw the figure standing over them, its red eyes glowing in the darkness.

They tried to scream, but no sound came out. They were paralyzed with fear, and they knew that they were about to become the mansion's latest victims.

Suddenly, the figure disappeared, and the mansion was plunged into darkness once again. They got up and ran as fast as they could, desperate to escape the mansion. But the mansion had other plans for them.

As they ran down the stairs, they could feel something pulling at their feet, trying to drag them back up. They fought against it, but it was no use. They were trapped, and there was no escape.

They heard a voice whispering in their ears, telling them to stay, to join the mansion's other occupants. They tried to resist, but the voice was too strong.

They felt themselves being lifted off the ground, and they were pulled towards the ceiling. They could see the skeletal figure hovering above them, its red eyes staring down at them.

They tried to scream, but it was too late. They were trapped in the mansion forever, doomed to become its latest victims.
