The lonely hut

Oliver and Thomas’ Vacation

Oliver and Thomas were very close friends, and they knew one another from their child hood. Oliver and Thomas studied in the same School at their hometown. Oliver's father was a merchant in the town. But Thomas's father was a Government employee. Since Thoma's father was a Government Employee he used to get transfers to many locations in the country. Accordingly Thomas needs to change his school often as his father gets transfer. But once in a while, Thomas visits his hometown to see his relatives and friends, especially Oliver.

Today morning Oliver was relaxing on a sofa and having a cup of tea. He was deeply thinking about his school days. Suddenly he noticed somebody knocking on his door. When he opened the door, he was shocked to see Thomas in front of the door. He was very happy to see his old friend. This summer he came to visit his old friend Oliver but without informing him as a surprise visit.

Oliver and Thomas had been planning a vacation last year, but they couldn't. But this time they had to plan. They had decided on a scenic drive to a nearby forest, and were looking forward to the adventure. They travelled on a old jeep of Oliver which he keeps for long time, When they arrived, they were both in awe of the beauty of the forest. They drove around for a while, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. However, their joy was short-lived when their jeep suddenly started to break down. After trying to fix it for a while, they realized that the car was beyond repair and would need to be taken to a mechanic. Oliver was realized that he has not have maintained the old jeep properly.

Stuck in the Forest

With no way to get to a mechanic, Oliver and Thomas were stuck in the middle of the forest. They started looking around for some kind of shelter, but all they could find was an old, dilapidated hut. With no other choice, they decided to stay in the hut for the night.

Once inside the hut, Oliver and Thomas started to get a strange feeling. They couldn’t quite place it, but something felt off. They decided to ignore it and soon enough, they fell asleep. In the middle of the night, Oliver was woken up by a strange noise. He looked around and saw Thomas, standing in the corner of the room, looking terrified. When Oliver asked him what was wrong, Thomas told him that he had seen a ghost!

A Not-So-Friendly Ghost

Oliver thought Thomas was just being silly, but then he heard the ghostly voice himself. It was a deep, raspy voice that seemed to be coming from all directions. The ghost told them to leave the hut immediately and never come back. Oliver and Thomas were terrified, but they were also determined not to let the ghost scare them away. They decided to stand their ground and face the ghost.

The Final Showdown

The ghost started to become more and more aggressive, threatening to harm them if they didn’t leave. Oliver and Thomas were bravely holding their ground when suddenly, the ghost stopped. It seemed to be in pain, and it slowly started to disappear. When the ghost was gone, the hut suddenly filled with light. Oliver and Thomas looked around and saw that the hut had been transformed. Everything was now clean and tidy, and they could even see a bed and a fireplace.

A New Home

Oliver and Thomas realized that the ghost had been the spirit of the hut’s former owner. He had been trying to protect the hut from intruders and had been stuck in an endless cycle of anger until Oliver and Thomas faced him. The hut was now their home. They stayed for a few days and then continued their journey, feeling grateful for the unexpected encounter.
