The Strange Gift

It was Jane's seventh birthday, and her parents decided to give her a special gift. Jane loved dolls, and her parents knew it. They decided to buy her a doll from an antique store. The doll was old and had an eerie vibe to it. But, Jane loved it regardless. She named her new toy, Emily.

The first night after receiving Emily, Jane couldn't sleep. She felt like someone was watching her. She kept turning to see if Emily was still there, and she was. But something was different about the doll. It seemed to be staring at her with its empty, black eyes.

The Mysterious Incidents

Over the next few days, strange incidents started to happen. Toys would disappear from Jane's room, and she would find them in odd places around the house. Her parents didn't believe her when she told them about the mysterious happenings. They thought it was just Jane's overactive imagination.
