The doorbell rang a few minutes after everyone had left. Jenna and her roommates were cleaning up after their party.

“Can somebody get that?”

She looked around and saw that Lisa and Shannon were in the kitchen and Christy had her hands full. “Never mind I got it.”

She opened the door and saw a pizza delivery man. “How's it going, that will be 10.77.” Jenna looked back at Christy. "Did you order pizza?” Christy look confused. “No.”

Just then a scream came from the kitchen. The delivery driver reached into one of the pizza box and pulled out a machete. He runs past Jenna and looks to Christy. She drops the garbage bag and red solo cups that were in her hands. He turns toward the kitchen where the screen was coming from.

Walking In he sees Lisa lying on the floor holding her head. Jenna runs by him to see what happened. She was on the floor next to her in a heartbeat.

“Are you OK?” Lisa sits up against one of the cabinets. “Yeah, I think so. I hit my head on something.” There was blood coming from the side of her neck. You could see at least one decent size puncture mark.

The the back door swings open and another man runs in with a wooden stake in one hand and a crucifix in the other.

“Eric where are you?” The delivery driver walks up to him. “Steve I told you to stay in the car.”

“I heard screams I thought you were in trouble?”

“How could I be in trouble if I hadn't even gotten in the house yet?”

“Steve looks bewildered. “That's a good point I didn't think that through.”

“No you didn't.”

Christy walks in and sees the two men having a conversation while her friends are on the floor.

“What's going on? Who are you guys?”

Eric and Steve looked at each other and then began stuttering trying to come up with a reason why they had just barged into their house. During their stuttering Jenna looks up and notices someone's missing.

“Where is Shannon?” Lisa looked up holding her head. “She was right here just a second ago.”

Eric and Steve look at each other, then to the girls. “There're four of you living here?”

Lisa answered “No, it's just the three of us. Shannon is my friend from school. She was staying late to help us clean up and why am I telling the two guys that just broke in with weapons all this?”

Jenna sighed “Hopefully we can chalk that up to your concussion.” Eric walks up to Lisa “Where did she go? Your friend Shannon, where is she?”

A thump sounded on the ceiling and everyone looked up. Steve saw stairs in the corner and ran towards them. Eric stayed in the kitchen and told the girls to stay where they were. Chris he walked over to him.

“What kind of pizza delivery guy runs around with a machete?”

Eric stumbled over his words for a second. “Well… you see… it's a bad neighborhood.” Another scream, this time from upstairs. Jenna heard it and went running up screaming for Shannon. Eric followed trying to stop her and Christy helped Lisa follow behind them. At the top of the stairs was a door leading to a bedroom. Steve was inside trying to get Shannon away from the window. Eric reached out for Steve.

“What are you doing?!?!”

Steve look back. “She's trying to jump out the window. I don't think she likes the cross in my hand.”

“Or maybe it's the stake in the other one. Do we know if she's human?”

Shannon looked back, fear blanketing her face, mouth so wide you can see her fangs. Eric notice them immediately and charged.

“Stop! They're not real!” Jenna came running in stepped between Shannon and Eric.

“What do you mean they're not real?” Eric look confused. Steve put his hand on Eric's shoulder.

“Look on the walls.” Looking around, Eric saw skeletons and pumpkins decorating the room. Cardboard letters spelling out “Happy Halloween” was hanging above the doorway. Shannon slowly step down from the window. With their hands up she slowly moved one towards her mouth and removed the fake teeth.

“See, we were having a Halloween party. Nothing to be worried about.”

Eric and Steve look at each other both utterly confused.

“Are you sure we're at the right house?” Steve rich says jacket pocket pulled out a piece of paper with an address on it.

“Yeah this has to be it look.” Eric took the piece of paper to see for himself and then punch Steve in the arm.

“Ow what was that for!” he then turned to the girls.

“Excuse me ladies but is this 601 Main Street?”

“No, this is 109 Main Street.” Jenna looked heated answering Eric's question.

“You were reading the address upside down! We just scared them half to death for no reason!” Steve looked embarrassed.

“Well next time write it neater. I can’t read what you write half the time!”

“You can read any of the time!”

The girls watched as the two bickered back and forth while walking out of the room. They looked at each other and then sprinted down the stairs after them, catching them right as they were walking out the front door.

“Now we have to do this again only at the right location this time!”

“Wait!” Christy screamed out. “Are you going to tell us what just happened?!?!”

Eric picked up the pizza box and looked at Steve. “Give them the distraction pizza and let's go.”

“We have to tell them something. I don’t think pizza is going to get us out of this.”

Lisa leaned forward. “I could go for some pizza.”

Steve handed her the pizza, said sorry and ran out the door. The last thing the girls saw was the tail lights of their car through the smoke they created peeling out. Jenna Shut the door.

“That was lucky. Never thought vampire hunters would find us here.” Her teeth grew into fangs as did Shannon’s and Christies. Scooping Lisa’s chin in her hand, Jenna bent down to her eye level. “Now lets get you something better to eat and complete your transformation.”
