The Mystery of Seua Saming
In the rich embroidered artwork of Southeast Asian old stories, not many animals spellbind the creative mind as much as the Seua Saming, or Weretiger. These amazing creatures are accepted to be people who have the capacity to change into brutal tigers, slinking the woodlands and towns of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos. Like the werewolves of Western folklore, weretigers are both dreaded and worshipped for their extraordinary influence, as well as their capacity to bring both favorable luck and catastrophe.

Embarrassing Secret
It was a creature of chaos, a devotee of disorder, a purveyor of peril. It was an instigator of insanity. It was older than dirt, tougher than nails, bad to the bone, ugly as sin, a bald-faced liar with a checkered past— to be avoided like the plague. Bent out of shape, a fearsome force to be reckoned with, It was unstoppable, unkillable, unfathomable. It still trafficked in the physical, however...

There is a village called Hollowbrook, a place where sunlight never truly breaks through the perpetual gloom. Mist slithers through the cobbled streets, wrapping every home in a cold embrace, and the wind carries whispers of things best left forgotten. Hollowbrook had been cursed for centuries, haunted not by demons from distant lands but by the shadows born from its own darkness. The curse was not an accident—it was carefully crafted by hands once innocent, hearts once pure.

Respect
There was only one rule: don’t open the door! Okay. He decided to obey. The master shut the main gate of the castle and left his servant beside the massive oak door leading to the basement. With the final bolt in place, he knew that the structure was secure with his duties.

THE LAST TRAIN AT 11PM
**The Last Train at 11 PM** The night was draped in a heavy fog, thick enough to swallow sound and sight. The clock on the station wall ticked toward 11 PM, its monotonous rhythm underscoring the stillness of the nearly deserted platform. Clara stood shivering slightly, her breath forming small clouds in the chilly air. She glanced at her watch, anxious for the arrival of the last train. The station, a relic of a bygone era, was dimly lit by flickering overhead lights that cast eerie shadows. Clara was one of the few passengers remaining. She clutched a worn leather bag tightly to her side, her mind racing with thoughts of her unexpected journey. She had been in town for a family funeral, and now, as the only one left in the small, close-knit community, she felt an inexplicable urge to leave. The platform echoed with a sudden noise, drawing her attention. A tall man in a dark overcoat appeared at the far end, his face obscured by the fog. He moved with a purpose, striding towards her, his footsteps muffled against the damp ground. Clara instinctively took a step back, her instincts warning her of something amiss. “Excuse me,” the man called out, his voice low and steady. “Is this the platform for the last train?” Clara hesitated, eyeing him cautiously. “Yes, it is. It should be here any minute.” He nodded, his expression unreadable. “Good to know. I was starting to think I’d missed it.” Clara shifted her weight, trying to gauge his intentions. “Are you from around here?” she asked, attempting to lighten the tension. “Just passing through,” he replied, glancing up and down the empty platform. “I’m heading to the next town.” They stood in silence, the quiet pressing down on them. Clara could feel a sense of unease creeping over her, as if the fog itself held secrets. She glanced back at the station’s clock; it was almost 11 PM. Suddenly, the lights flickered more violently, plunging the platform into darkness for a heartbeat. Clara’s heart raced. When the lights returned, the man was closer, standing only a few feet away, his eyes fixed intently on her. “What’s your name?” he asked, the question slicing through the tension like a knife. “Clara,” she replied, her voice wavering slightly. “What’s yours?” “Jake,” he said, offering a small, unsettling smile. “You’re not scared, are you?” “Of what?” she replied, trying to sound braver than she felt. “Of the last train,” he said, gesturing toward the darkened tracks. “They say it’s cursed.” Clara scoffed, attempting to dismiss the eerie vibe that surrounded them. “That’s just a story.” “Is it?” he challenged, his smile fading. “You should look into it. People don’t just disappear for no reason.” The statement sent a chill down her spine. She glanced at the tracks, the thought of disappearing into the fog sending her heart into a wild frenzy. The clock struck 11, the sound echoing ominously through the night. Clara’s gaze darted to the horizon, searching for any sign of the train. “I should go,” she muttered, feeling a growing sense of urgency. “Don’t rush off,” Jake said smoothly, his voice low. “I wouldn’t want you to miss your train.” As if on cue, the distant sound of a train whistle pierced the silence, growing louder and more pronounced. Clara’s breath caught in her throat. “It’s coming!” she exclaimed, relief flooding through her. Jake stepped closer, his expression shifting from casual interest to something more intense. “You’re not afraid of what might be waiting for you on that train?” Clara hesitated, the weight of his words heavy in the air. “What do you mean?” “People often don’t come back after taking the last train. It’s said that the conductor knows secrets—dark secrets,” he murmured, his eyes narrowing. “I don’t believe that,” Clara shot back defiantly, though a part of her was shaken. The sound of the train wheels grinding against the tracks echoed closer now, a mechanical heartbeat in the stillness. Suddenly, the lights above flickered again, and she felt a chill run through her, as if the fog had seeped into her bones. “I really need to go,” she insisted, stepping away from him. “Maybe you should reconsider,” Jake said, a strange intensity in his gaze. “You don’t want to be part of the next chapter of this town’s history.” Clara’s heart raced as she turned to face the tracks. The train finally appeared, its headlights piercing through the fog like twin suns, revealing the rusty old engine and the dimly lit passenger cars. A sense of dread washed over her, and she hesitated on the platform, feeling the weight of Jake’s gaze. As the train screeched to a halt, the doors opened with a hiss. Clara took a step forward, drawn to the warmth and light inside. But she paused, glancing back at Jake, whose expression now held a peculiar mix of concern and something darker. “Don’t let it take you,” he said quietly, a warning lacing his words. Clara’s breath hitched in her throat. “What do you mean?” Before he could answer, she made her choice. Clutching her bag tightly, she stepped onto the train, the doors sliding shut behind her with an ominous thud. She found an empty seat near the window, her heart racing as the train jolted into motion. As the landscape outside blurred into a dark void, she peered through the glass, searching for Jake. He stood on the platform, watching the train disappear into the night, his figure fading into the fog. A sense of unease settled over Clara. The train rattled along the tracks, the rhythmic clattering lulling her into a daze. She couldn’t shake Jake’s warning from her mind. What if he was right? The lights inside the car flickered, and she felt a chill wash over her. The train’s interior began to dim, shadows creeping along the aisles as if alive. Suddenly, the conductor appeared at the end of the car, his presence imposing and silent. Clara watched him move, the air thickening with tension as he approached her. His face was obscured by a dark cap, but she could sense something unsettling about him. “Destination?” he asked in a low, gravelly voice. “Um, the next town,” Clara replied, her voice trembling slightly. The conductor nodded slowly, his gaze penetrating. “Are you sure that’s where you want to go?” Her heart raced again. “Yes, that’s where I want to go.” “Very well,” he said, but there was an unsettling finality in his tone. As he walked away, Clara’s mind raced. The train seemed to lurch, the lights flickering erratically. The other passengers, previously invisible, now sat silently in the dim light, their faces hidden in shadow. An uneasy feeling washed over her; she felt as if they were all staring at her. Suddenly, the train lurched violently, and the lights went out completely. Panic surged through her as darkness enveloped the car. “Help!” she shouted, but her voice echoed back at her, swallowed by the void. The train came to an abrupt stop, throwing Clara against the seat. In the pitch black, she felt a presence looming near her, cold and oppressive. Then, a whisper reached her ears, a haunting sound that sent shivers down her spine. “You shouldn’t have boarded.” The train’s lights flickered back on, revealing the conductor standing inches away, his face now illuminated with an eerie glow. “You chose this path, Clara.” Her heart pounded in her chest. “What do you want from me?” “You’ll find out soon enough,” he replied, his voice like ice. Clara's mind raced. She thought of Jake, of his warning. Was she too late to turn back? The train started moving again, slowly at first, then faster, the scenery outside dissolving into a dark blur. Clara felt her world spinning, the air thick with foreboding. As the train hurtled through the darkness, Clara realized she might have boarded the last train at 11 PM, but it felt like the beginning of something she could never escape. The sound of the whistle pierced the night, echoing into the unknown as she surrendered to the journey ahead.
