‘The Menu’ Movie Review
The Menu is a new horror-comedy from, I kid you not, two writers for The Onion. Hawthorne is a an exclusive, upscale restaurant run by the tyrannical, yet charismatic Chef Julian Slowik (Ralph Fiennes). Young couple Tyler (Nicholas Hoult) and Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) are among the guests for a very special menu, which also includes food critic Lillian (Janet McTeer) and her editor Ted (Paul Adelstein), wealthy older couple Richard (Reed Birney) and Anne (Judith Light), a trio of young entrepreneurs (Rob Yang, Arturo Castro, Mark St. Cyr), and movie star-turned-amateur foodie George Diaz (John Leguizamo) and his assistant Felicity (Aimee Carrero). But Chef Slowik has more nefarious plans for his guests this time, and it doesn’t take long for Margot to sense danger.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'The Wind' (2018)
Ho-lee-crap this movie was fucking forgettable. I seriously mean that. I just watched it two days ago and I can barely remember fuck-all about it. All I can really remember is how much it irritated me. There was very little to like about this movie. I mean, the premise and the plot were fine, it was just a poor execution with a particularly weak ending. And the ending is pretty much my all-time most hated trope next to 'Black Guy Dies First.' If you know my reviews well enough, that's actually a bit of a spoiler but I'll talk about this later in the actual spoilers.

LEAVING CHARLIE ALONE AT THE OFFICE AND CHARLIE TAKES OFF HIS BLOODY CLOTHES AND CHANGES INTO A COMBAT GEAR AND FULL BODY ARMOR STEEL PLATED GLOVES AND GRABS A BOX OF SHOTGUN EXPLOSIVE SHELLS MADE BY DAWSON AND GETS A RAMBO SIZE KNIFE THAT WAS SOAKING IN HOLY WATER AND GETS A DESERT EAGLE AND STANDING THE MIRROR AND GRABS THE AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN AND GOES IN HIS CAR GARAGE AND RIDES OUT ON A MOTORCYCLE TO VAMPIRE’S CLUB.

Horror Classics: Nosferatu
I've said it before, but I love old horror movies. I cut my proverbial teeth on a lot of the old Hammer films - that's how this series got its start after all. As 2022 nears its end, however, I wanted to add a special title to the series: Nosferatu. Why is Nosferatu special? Well, it's 100 years old!
