Thanksgiving Movie Review
A movie that brings the family to pieces and with a tagline saying "There will be no leftovers." Everyone in that movie got a good feast or became the feast for the occassion. Thanksgiving is a horror myster brought to the screen by no other than Eli Roth. Eli Roth is known for his gory funny movies such as Cabin Fever and Hotel. Our movie begins in the town of Plymouth, Massachusetts on Thanksgiving day. The year is 2022 as RightMart is open on this day in preparation for their Black Friday sale. Being Black Friday the horror is already outside as angry patrons are wanting to get into the store. As the townsfolk are outside with our titular characters sneaking inside the store. The crowd sees them and the act enrages them even more which unleashes the carnage that was going to begin inside the store. A fateful murder brings the town to be bathed in a bloody massacre.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'The Empty Man' (2020)
There was no fucking reason for this movie to be two fucking hours long. They could easily cut thirty minutes and make it the standard hour and a half. The movie was honestly kinda boring because of the pacing. Don't get me wrong, it's fascinating. The plot asks, "What if an idea could be infectious?" It's obviously more complicated than that and revolves around things like urban legends, but it's a neat general concept for the plot. It's about manifesting something by enough people believing in it, which is known as a Tulpa or 'thought form.'

Turkey Bowl 2
I wrote "Turkey Bowl" to cover movies so bad they didn't really deserve whole articles dedicated to reviewing them. The first two, The Bat (1959) starring Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead, and Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things (1972), starring cult movie director Alan Ormsby, were indeed cinematic slop fit only for feeding to hogs (well, maybe they weren't that bad).

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'The Device' (2014)
I'm just gonna start by pointing out that nothing as cool as that movie poster ever happens in this movie. I mean, that's some Ghost In the Shell (1995) graphics but it never happens. ANYWHO, my fucking god, this movie was a slog. Yes, it passes my 30 Minute Rule, yes something is always technically happening but fuck sake is it so damn slow. I was bored to tears by the first 30 minutes and I really just didn't want to keep watching. But some-fucking-how I made it through all the way to the end to see the seriously anticlimactic ending.
