Bankers boxes were strewn everywhere. I didn't see a chainsaw, and it looked like the sort of place where I could score an eightball of solid Colombian, so I pulled into the drive.

The car stopped right in front of me, and the driver rolled down the window and asked, "Where are the three of you headed?" Hearing that, I froze, and a wave of fear hit me instantly. I quickly opened the door, got into the back seat, and, in a panic, said, "Drive fast, I'll pay you double!" Without asking further, the driver pressed the gas pedal and sped off.
