Undying Love
02/26/19 “Why?” a gentle voice asked from behind me. I knew what was coming, but turned anyway. There was no point in fighting it. If I didn’t turn, the voice would only start sounding like it was everywhere, ringing in my ears, clanging through my head. So I turned. Everything around us is blacker than black, nothing exists but us. Her skin looked like it was glowing, her green eyes burning me where I stood. She looked at me, waiting for an answer. She stood so still, it couldn’t be natural. Her face was still the one I loved, but different— more angular, even more beautiful, knowing, dangerous. Dead. She was dead. But here she was in front of me.

In the Woods
09/29/19 Simon stared at Gabby in horror. They’d left earlier that morning to go hiking. They were several miles in when Gabby pulled her hunting knife that her dad gave her a few years back out of her backpack. They’d been going out for a year and a half and went hiking all the time, so he’d seen it before. She liked to carry it at almost all times because she had a tendency of being extremely paranoid. He’d gotten used to it.

Yes I Am
You're probably sleeping in your cozy queen size bed, in your warm, safe home. The entire apartment is still filled with the aroma of a perfect Friday night dinner. You probably poured yourself a glass of wine before sitting in your favorite spot on the couch, that has the dent in the cushion to prove it. Probably didn't even take you long to fall into the comfortable, deep sleep you're in now. Me? Oh, I'm having a different kind of night. You see, it tends to get cold around 4am in Los Angeles. Especially 4am in the middle of the Angels Forrest with no clothes on. Did I mention that I was naked and tied to a stake, surrounded by a crowed of people waiting to see me burn? I'm sorry. I should have lead with that but...perspective? Never mind that, I'm naked and tied to stake.

Blood Child
The stars twinkled overhead with the promise of what was to come. Gabriel looked up as a single star shot across the velvet sky. He sighed in relief, that was a good sign. The last time a shooting star coincided with a claiming, his father was made King. Hopefully, whatever was to come would be good for them as well. He could only hope that nothing bad came from this night.

All IS Cured With A Glass of Merlot
PROLOGUE “Ring! Ring! Ring!.......” Eager with glee and anticipation, Shannon leapt up from her sunken, perspired, crimson flowered, cotton sofa to answer the phone. Saving herself from embarrassment, Shannon’s subconscious spoke aloud in her mind. Calm down! she says. The reprimand is so definite that Shannon straightens up, releasing her jitters before she answers, and with ever so care, picks up the phone. At the end of the receiver Shannon hears the familiar-and what sounded like- friendly, intoxicating, sexy and impressive voice, inviting her on a date. The invitation is mutually convincing, with nothing else left to do but patiently await the approaching painstakingly Sunday commitment for May 22, 2022.
