Joe PattersonPublished 5 months ago in Horror My imaginary boogeyman
I was around the ages between 5 and 7 years old around the mid 90s that I thought about this imaginary monster. I don’t know how it all started or when I start thinking about it but it felt like it was real like my imagination was reality. I was a young boy growing up with my mom and dad no siblings in my family house hold. I remember being dropped off at kindergarden where all the kids and I would be typical spoiled brats making noise playing toys and other types of activities and learning arts and crafts. Like every other kid people talk about monsters ,ghost or aliens and they all talk about how in ancient times things that where once dead or once a being would walk this earth but like everybody else I believe in fairytales just like believing that Santa Claus existence on Christmas. It was around the mid or late 90s I remember being put to bed next to my mom and dad I would often sleep next to them when I feel scared of something as midnight struck it’s course I remember being woke up by a unknown entity force coming from the hallway, I tried waking my parent up but they won’t wake up as if time has frozen or they don’t even hear anything. I was scared and desperate to get them to wake and even tired to grab something for protection but nothing happened my body felt frozen like it didn’t want to do anything I was helpless! With my body completely being out of commission I’m forced to watch helplessly as the unknown entity come into my parents bedroom I was scared out of my mind as a child not knowing what to do. I can hear the noise of his coming futher and futher in and finally the monster finally makes it’s way in and looked at me with its evil reptile looking eyes it’s was also pushing something like it was a grocery cart or something inside. It was around 6’4 or 6’8 tall height of a beast. The beast looked at me makes it’s way towards me I felt something dragging me toward the beast. My parents of course still not awake as I called apon them the beast didn’t even pay attention to them just me. I felt my body being dragged and forced upon the beast cart, I’m totally helpless and frozen and paralyzed with fear as I finally make my way into the beast cart the beast looked at me with its evil sharp teeth smiles before getting ready to drag me off into the hallway and into the unknown force, then next thing I now I woke up completely confused and scared out of my mind it was around 6 or 7 in the morning and I felt relieved that this was all a dream in the end.. I told my mom and dad about it and my mom said “you know your just dreaming it’s natural to have those types of nightmare dreams after watching a scary movie I used to think chucky was real but in the end movies show you things that don’t exist it’s all about money and entertainment your still a child when your older you’ll understand that this is just fiction.” She said,“Don’t ever watch adult movies without my permission or it will get worse this time!”said my dad. But knowing what I saw made me very curious and scared at the same time but in the end I was just a child it took me 5 years to get over that fear ,but in the end I can’t help but laugh at myself and the hole ordeal as 25 years has passed in my conclusion movies are just movies.
The Assignment
“Did you do it?” Shit. No, I did not do it, I completely forgot, for some reason I didn’t think I had to do the assignment until next week.
