HAUNTED RESTURENT
SOME FRIENDS ARE IN RESTURENT FOR DINNER... Once upon a time, in a small town nestled deep in the mountains, there was a renowned restaurant known for its delicious and unique cuisine. The restaurant was named "The HAUNTED HOUSE" and was said to be haunted by three real ghosts. The first ghost was a woman named Lillian, who had been a chef at the restaurant before her untimely death. She was known for her exceptional culinary skills and was rumored to still roam the kitchen, ensuring that every dish was prepared to perfection. The second ghost was a young boy named Tommy, who had been a waiter at the restaurant. He was said to have a mischievous personality and loved to play pranks on the guests, making glasses of water spill or doors mysteriously close on their own. The third ghost was a mysterious figure known only as the "Specter of the Cellar." No one knew much about this ghost, but strange noises and cold drafts were often reported coming from the restaurant's cellar.

Oneirodynia. Top Story - June 2024. Content Warning.
“And you’ve had the same nightmare for eight years now?!” “No, not really. The theme of my nightmares had always been the same, but the gruesomeness of it increased over the years,” explained Haydari. “Okay, spill everything! I can’t believe that you’ve never told me about this!” Calista was incredulous. Haydari dreaded this moment. She had never confided in her best friend, let alone anyone, or even sought professional help because she didn’t even know how to talk about something like this. Her nightmares had gotten so bad over the years, which caused her to lose a lot of sleep. Her chronic lack of sleep had rendered her incompetent at work, and she got fired today. She called Calista up and went straight to her house to vent. “I know, I know, and I’m sorry for keeping it from you. Okay, I’ll spill, but heads up, you might find these nightmares gross and very disturbing,” warned Haydari. “There is nothing that I would judge you for, especially for something that you have no control of.” Haydari sighed and shrugged, “Oh well, if you say so. The first of these nightmares that I can remember vividly was of me eating an ice cream at the mall, and I saw the lifeguard drowning. Don’t ask me how he was drowning at the mall, but he was and I wanted to help him.” “Okay, go on,” Calista prompted as she saw the hesitation in Haydari’s eyes. “You were there and I told you to hold my ice cream, but you refused because you claimed that the ice cream was made with breast milk and you didn’t wanna touch it.” “Sorry, but what milk?” “Breast milk. You know, like the milk from the breast of a woman.” “I know what breast milk is!” Calista was repulsed by this revelation, but she didn’t show it, “So what happened after that?” “I turned to look at the ice cream man from whom I bought the ice cream. There were so many women squirting their milk into jugs and handing them to him. He would hit them hard if they slowed down.

An Adventure Through Hell. Top Story - June 2024.
Emaciated arms covered by the tiniest bit of flesh capture me, holding me close to its decaying form. Gnarled and thin fingers pull my dark hair. Screams of anguish surround me, somehow reverberating from the empty chasm. I punch and watch as bits of grey flesh disintegrate into dust. Scratching at the caverns where its eyes should have been, I could only hope for an end to this hell. The sounds of torment continued, assaulting my ears with one tremendous roar.

Echoes of the Forgotten
Echoes of the Forgotten In the curious, failed-to-remember town of Ravenswood, where time appeared to stop, stood an old, frail manor known as Blackwood House. Deserted for a really long time, the manor had an evil standing. The locals murmured stories of scary events and odd vanishings, cautioning outcasts to remain away. However, the house's dull appeal demonstrated that it was excessively enticing for some.

Shadows of the Past. Content Warning.
Shadows of the Past Settled profoundly inside the thick, premonition woods of Blackwood, an old house stood deserted and rotting. Blackwood House, once a terrific domain, had for quite some time been the subject of dull legends and murmured stories in the nearby town. It was supposed to be reviled, its lobbies reverberating with the tortured cries of the individuals who had died inside its walls. Few considered drawing nearer, yet the individuals who did never returned something very similar.

The foreboding forest
In the heart of a dark and foreboding forest, where the trees whispered secrets and shadows danced menacingly, two friends found themselves lost in the maze of twisted branches and eerie silence. Alice, a brave and adventurous soul with fiery red hair that matched her fierce spirit, clutched onto her best friend, Emily, who was more timid and cautious by nature. As they stumbled through the thick undergrowth, their hearts pounded in unison with each rustle of leaves and crackle of twigs beneath their feet. The air grew colder as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows that seemed to reach out towards them like ghostly fingers. "We shouldn't have come here," Emily whispered nervously, her voice barely above a trembling breath. "This place gives me chills." Alice chuckled softly, trying to mask her own rising fear. "Don't worry, Em. We'll find our way out soon enough. Just stick close to me." But as they continued on their uncertain path, a sense of unease settled over them like a heavy fog. Strange sounds echoed through the darkness – whispers that seemed to speak directly into their minds. "What is that?" Emily gasped, clutching at Alice's arm in terror. "I don't know," Alice replied shakily. "But we need to keep moving." Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows ahead – a tall and slender silhouette that seemed to flicker in and out of existence like a wisp of smoke. Its eyes glowed with an otherworldly light as it spoke in a voice that sent shivers down their spines. "Welcome to my domain," it intoned ominously. "You are trespassers here." Alice's heart raced as she tried to make sense of what she was seeing. "Who are you? What do you want from us?" The figure laughed – a chilling sound that echoed through the trees like icy wind. "I am known by many names," it said cryptically. "But you may call me...the Shadow King." Emily whimpered in fear as Alice stood her ground defiantly. "We mean no harm," she declared boldly. "Please let us go." The Shadow King's eyes glittered with malice as he raised his hand towards them, beckoning them closer with an unseen force. "You have trespassed into my realm," he hissed malevolently. "And now...you shall pay the price." With those words hanging ominously in the air, Alice and Emily knew they were facing an enemy unlike any they had encountered before – one whose power stretched far beyond the confines of this cursed forest. Will they be able to escape from the clutches of the Shadow King? Or will they become just another pair lost forever in his shadowy domain? Only time will tell...
