Loop
Hey sir! Are you okay? Sir? I bent down to shake him, hoping he was just asleep. There was no movement. I check for a pulse and finding none. Oh shit he’s dead! I stand up and take two steps back tripping over something heavy and falling to the ground.

Chosen by Chance
It was a rare winter morning in the town of Glasserton, Oregon where the sun was shining and not a trace of moisture was to be found in the air. Being mid-February, the weather was known to rarely fluctuate from anything but cold, wet, and dreary; then again, today was different. Today was something special.

The power of eyes
You know, when you have a child it is supposed to be one of the most joyous moments in life. A tiny person who will carry on your traditions and your legacy long after you have been gone. Grace studied the home’s rich but chipped night-blue brick, which outlined the home’s symmetrical round-topped windows with sunburst detailing. The house must have been beautiful at one time, she imagined, but now the sun only illuminated its wear.

Bag Boy
Umf! Watch where you’re going dammit. And of course, I drop the vase. It falls into the valley of space being pierced at light speed by my eyes, my hands incapable of stopping the inevitable as the Waterford crystal impacts and then disintegrates into a brilliant star, gone supernova at its inception.

Finding Ever After
"Lani." *Silence* "Lani." I turned over as I began to recognize that I was indeed hearing my name. It was my girlfriend. I peeked my eyes open and then saw on our nightstand the clock had 2 AM sprawled across. Slowly my eyes began to adjust to the darkness with nothing but the moonlight from the night sky gleaming through the window, and I could see she was looking at me with her big brown eyes filled with dismay and frustration.
