Life... life is beautiful. I have lived a vibrant life, cherishing every moment and receiving love from those close to me. My family functions as a team, always there when I need them. My father is not just an ordinary person of Norwegian descent working in Indonesia; he is my superhero, fighting against evil while also teaching me the fundamentals of life, from learning to crawl as a baby to becoming the most humble and compassionate girl in school. Although many boys in school admire me for my blonde hair, fair skin, and blue eyes, I have earned admiration and respect from others through my loving and compassionate nature. Why would I ever want to tease and bully someone for amusement? Why should I abandon a "loser" out of fear of being influenced by them? Why is it wrong to help others?

As a fourteen-year-old girl, I have experienced countless challenges and triumphs. My dad loves taking me on adventures around the world, exposing me to various challenges and responsibilities. From acting on stage to winning math competitions, I have embraced exciting experiences. I have never understood what hatred is or why some people are perpetually grumpy. I make friends with almost everyone I encounter, be they classmates, soulmates, mischievous boys, jocks, bullies, teachers, janitors, trash collectors, or even the elderly. Literally, everyone! Despite occasional fights and arguments among fellow schoolmates, I still love them and hold no desire for resentment.

Just as I am about to embark on a journey to explore the true beauty of life with a date with Thomas, who has always been with me since we fell in love for the first time, I am confronted with the bitter depths of existence.

My body is struck by a speeding red car as I attempt to cross the road, and I am sent soaring into the sky like a ragdoll. The impact shatters my insides, and my forehead slams down first, etching the sound into my memory as my neck snaps and my entire body trembles. Within a brief but excruciating moment, I experience intense pain before truly departing from my body, witnessing my own death. I see my lifeless body covered in blood, with broken and fragile bones. My arms are dislocated. And Thomas does not deserve to witness the traumatizing sight of an innocent girl's demise.

That's how it all started. My name is Angeline, and I was only fourteen when I died.

Among my many dear friends, there is one peculiar girl in my class who possesses the extraordinary ability to hear my words. Through her unique gift, Alina and I form a newfound friendship amidst the abyss of grief and tragedy.

As a deceased soul, one might expect me to be consumed by regret, anger, and despair. Many perceive wandering spirits as vengeful beings, thirsty for revenge, spreading fear, curses, and calamity among the living. But revenge and hatred have no solace within me.

Since I was young, and even after death, I have been incapable of causing harm to others. I have always sought to assist the weak and offer companionship to the lonely. Such is how I intend to spend my afterlife as a lost spirit.

Yet, amidst the darkness, sorrow, and despair, a profound exploration of friendship, empathy, and the transformative power of compassion unfolds. It extends beyond mere resonance with those I encounter, delving into the very nature of existence and the potential for redemption beyond the bounds of mortality.

However, I have also come to understand the powerlessness of the weak and the innocent, who suffer and perish at the hands of villainy. While villains rule the world, the good do nothing. In such a world, I will be the first good who actually does something, drawing the line and ensuring they pay for everything they have done!

Why? Because life is beautiful. And it is worth fighting for!
