One Night In The woods

There was this girl named Sara. She was a university student. She lived alone as her parents died when she was young. Her parents died because of the car accident. She lived with her grandparents till she was in college and moved abroad for her further studies. She was a hard working student and had pretty good grades in her studies.

The summer vacations were near so she decided to go on a trip with her friends. She and her friends discussed where should they go and ended up making a decision to go on an adventurous trip which was camping in the forest. They booked their van and waited for the day to arrive.

Finally, the wait was over. The summer vacations started and they packed everything they needed for the trip. Everyone was really excited . The friend group consisted of a total of five people which included Sara, her two female friends named Jennifer and Camila, and two male friends named Ben and Lucas.

Everyone gathered and they finally arrived at their destination. The big forest was an awe-inspiring sight. Towering trees loomed overhead, their branches reaching up towards the sky. The forest was dense, with a thick layer of underbrush covering the forest floor. Sunlight streamed down in dappled patterns, filtering through the leaves and casting the forest in a greenish glow.As we walked deeper into the forest, we could hear the sounds of wildlife all around us. Birds chirped and trilled in the trees, their calls echoing through the forest. Squirrels and other small creatures scurried through the underbrush, their movements rustling the leaves and twigs underfoot. The air was cool and crisp, with a faint scent of pine and damp earth. We could feel a sense of tranquility settling over us as we breathed in the fresh forest air. The sounds of civilization faded away, replaced by the gentle rustling of leaves and the soft hum of nature.

As the sun went down. We settled our camps and a bonfire. We enjoyed talking, were having funny conversations, making fun of each other and telling stories. Suddenly, Lucas saw a shadow which passed behind Sara. Lucas shouted and said, ”Look behind you Sara”. Sara looked behind immediately but she saw nothing. Everyone said that it might be a misunderstanding and ignored it. As the time passed they all went to their camps to get some sleep.

Everyone was asleep but suddenly Lucas woke up by a strange dream he had. He sat and reached out his hand for the water bottle which was beside his pillow as he did so he heard a growling noise outside his camp. He was so scared and terrified with horror. That he hid under his blanket and kept quiet after a minute or two, the voices faded away but Lucas was so terrified that he could barely sleep.

In the morning, Sara noticed that one of their friend was missing, which was Camila. Sara and her friends looked for camila everywhere but she was nowhere to be found. Lucas told everyone what had happened to him last night. Suddenly, Ben shouted, ”guys you gotta look at this.” Ben was shaking and he was really frightened. Everyone saw that it was Camila but the problem was that she was ripped open and dead. Everyone was terrified and packed everything and ran out of the forest to save their lives. When they came out of the forest they reported this incident to the police and police carried out the investigation.

No one ever knew what had happened to Camila, was it an animal or some sort of creature which haunted down Camila. This mystery always remind as a mystery. The police closed Camila's case by saying that it was done by a forest wild animal.
