Mystery Of The Cursed Mansion

There is an old ruined haveli in my village, in which no one lives there for almost 65 years. My village friends told me this.

When I came to know about this, I felt like seeing that mansion once. I am very interested to visit such places and know about them. Then one day I plan to go there with my friends. And reach in front of that ruined mansion. No one used to come and go there.

When I asked this thing to my friends that no one lives here side by side! In fact, people are not even coming this way, why so? So my friends told that this haveli is not just old and ruins. Rather this mansion is a haunted cursed mansion.

I said how can you say this with so much confidence. My friends said that the whole village here believes the same. A very old and true incident about this is famous here.

The thought of knowing about it started growing in my mind. I asked what is the story behind this? Then one of his friends started telling me.

About 65 years back, the owners of this haveli used to be big landowners. He also had a wife who was very beautiful, her name was Sulekha.

At that time people were also afraid of bandits. The group of dacoits used to enter even the village! It would completely destroy that village.

After seeing all this the landlord thought. Before the robber breaks the door of the mansion and gets inside! He must hide his wife and treasure. Then he hid that treasure in a secret place in a mansion.

And hide his wife in another secret room inside one room. And closed the room from outside. After some time, the robbers broke the door of the mansion and entered inside! In which the landlord died at the hands of dacoits.

But the landowner, while dying, did not reveal the address of his treasure to the robbers. The dacoits searched for the treasure a lot but could not find it. Then the robbers left the mansion with the valuables.

It is said that even today she waits for her husband in that room! Her husband will come someday and free her from that room.

And even today she punishes those who trespass into her mansion, or those who enter without her permission.
