My One Bloody Halloween Trilogy

I just wrote a trilogy for my short film series: One Bloody Halloween. I have to say, one is probably the best, two is better than 3 but all have their charms. Three is still noticeably the worst but that is why we write. I was able to write the scripts back-to-back. Took me a couple of hours.

The first two build off of each other nicely and really feel more like continuations of the same story and don’t just feel like isolated sequels. Even the kidnapped girl going from victim to mentee of the killer added a creepy touch. It feels pretty standard but different enough to be interesting.

To me, the villain getting their comeuppance, except in three, is satisfying. Unless Alice went after Devin, the movies would just feel like a cashgrab. Let the films come out and if the public actually wants a fourth, I might write one, but it is something that I would have to write while the irons were hot. Honestly, I wrote them at around ten this morning and I have no desire to return to the series anytime soon.

It was fun while it lasted and now it is time to move on. The first two were supposed to be an Urban Halloween type thing, but nothing can top Halloween. I like to be in control in my writing, especially in slasher film and stories. Halloween was great. Even in Halloween Kills there was a gay couple, and they were murdered onscreen. I get tired of straight white producers being so inclusive they have to worry about message over art.

I don't want to have to make Richie gay in It 2 just to justify a gay bashing at the beginning nor do I want to have immunity to interracial forced couples like Mason and Tara in Scream 6 or Mason's queer sister. If POC and gay people want to be in horror movies, they can good jolly Goddamn well expect to possibly be killed off in a film they are being paid a king's ransom to play make believe.

I killed off Devin's girlfriend, a Mexican girl, Devin is black, and the killer is black. The killer's name was Adonis Moore. Adonis kidnapped a little white girl and became his protege. In the second film, Adonis butchers Devin's parents and he murdered the killer. Not one executive Told me how to write, what I should write or to be more inclusive. Look at the 90's, Hell, Run DMC has a Christmas song in fucking Die Hard!

Why? Because the media wasn't telling every POC and gay person they were a victim, they weren't condemning every white person and every conservative, regardless of race and telling people not to watch their films or listen to their music and you didn't have celebrities fanning the flames of hate and intolerance in the name of tolerance.

Halloween Kills they killed of Big and Little John and people actually liked and rooted for them, why? Because the characters weren't given impunity because of SJW"s producers too gutless to kill off a character in a ''protected group.''

There were plenty of movies and music that were super political, some with a definite left leaning slant to them. But the media was not fanning the flames of anti-conservative hate then either. Them and actors stayed fairly neutral, with the exception of mostly Jane Fonda.

A movie theater would be the place to think and feel, but something forced would never connect with an audience and once Hollyweird and the media had condemned and made assumptions about conservatives who the fuck would want anything to do with people that were condemning assholes? Why would they pay money to be ridiculed and put down? Not every should have a political slant.

There should be a market and place of more political, less political and everything in between. Hollywood has historically always been a fantasy. What's wrong with kids having role models that look like them? Nothing.

But to teach kids all conservatives and any critics of them are racist isn't right either. In conclusion, I had a lot of fun writing my trilogy and might even write a follow up to the 3rd film. Thank you.
