The Strange Burdon of Alder Strauss
The following night brought with it an intensity that pulled me from my refuge and the safety of my chambers. I had had the dream again of the woods and of the woman. This time, however, I came closer to her and closer still. And as I drew upon her, her graceful stride became that of a quickened haste so that she would occasionally look behind her to see that I was still within her sights. But I still couldn’t make out her face. That’s what frustrated me the most. It felt like I was supposed to, like I was meant to but had not the capacity in mind or frame. Still, she persisted upon me the urgency of one who is in need of dire assistance. And though her actions did not communicate this, her very presence did. This dream, however, did not end abruptly in soaked sheets and trembling lips, but rather transcended into a void of thoughts or fantasy; a dreamless state. And like it was with the first dream, I again awoke in a most perplexing condition. I was exhausted and more fatigued than that of which I retired in. I had had an easy, uninterrupted sleep as well but when I sat up and removed the covers I froze. With my eyes fixated on the floor before me, my mouth hung loose. The floor was marked with blotchy footprints. Black mud painted fragments of bare toes, pad, and heel that seemed to lead to the door a short distance away.

The Strange Burdon of Alder Strauss
Nothing can be said to explain the strange events that befell Alder’s dreams on the night of March 15th, 1930, nor can one logically explain the strange set of circumstances that led to that grim discovery not thirty days after. But the duration of time in which these disturbances manifested and their symbolic significance therein could only lead Alder to believe that they were meant for him and him alone.

The Seance
In the year 1892 records tell of a house in Gradeley that is most unsettling. A house, that many say, is marked with a curse; damned for all eternity. No one goes into that house anymore. So it sits there all alone, a solemn reminder of those fateful events that took place there one stormy August night.

The Procession
On a still and silent night, a young boy is restless in his bed. He cannot sleep. Though the trickling recycling of water in his aquarium usually succeeded in lulling him to such a state, tonight is the exception for when it cannot. Something unknown keeps him away from a peaceful slumber.

Luciña (18+)
Jonah awoke to a world that rocked back and forth. He could hear a rhythmic creaking noise and, as his vision focused, he found that he was in a rusty, barnacle-laden, sea-beaten cage. It was night and pitch black all around him. Though, he knew he was outside; the stench of the sea as it came upon the ocean breeze was almost unbearable.

Luciña (18+)
The next morning, Jonah awoke to a lonely bed. Luciña was nowhere to be seen in their quarters. “Luciña?” No answer. Jonah looked around the bed for some of his clothing and found his boxers lying by the bedside. I slipped them on and walked towards the door. When he opened it, a thick fog crept slowly into the cabin like probing appendages. Jonah walked through and out onto the boat’s deck. The morning air was chilly and Jonah shivered. But he fought the feeling, more concerned about Luciña’s whereabouts than with his temporary discomfort.

The Dollhouse
It was late evening and it started raining. I went inside to play so I wasn't getting wet. When I got to the living room I noticed a doll house. It was a beautiful two story house with an elevator that worked with batteries. It also had a doorbell that worked. I was so excited! I ran to my room and grabbed a few of my Barbie's and went to playing. I kept using the elevator and the doorbell because it made things more real.

The Doldrums
Day Unknown Hour Unknown As of late I have received a report that one of my crew is unaccounted for and presumed missing; a man by the name of Isor, who reportedly had been seen mopping the portside deck right before he disappeared. I went to investigate where several others of my crew had reported seeing him and indeed he was gone. We could only see the mop and bucket as evidence that he was in the middle of his task when he vanished. The most bizarre of all was when I picked up the mop. It had attached to it a sticky residue of some kind that stretched and provided such a resistance that I had to cut it with a knife to free the mop from its grasp. There was also another strange element upon both the mop and the bucket. There seemed to be white scraped along the wood of the bucket and mop handle. Though I find this color strange, I feel that this could be of some explainable origin. The concern and task at hand is to find my missing crew member and put my crew and I at ease.

The Strangers on Tier Hill
NINE o’ CLOCK Leopold Fuchs stood about six feet in height. Although his complexion was that of a man approaching early middle age, his hair was a ghostly white with streaks of gray that lay gently over his ears. His eyes were penetrating, and demanding in such a way that they could command attention simply by their gaze alone. Our attention, however, was so focused on the progression of the night that we hadn’t noticed him until he announced himself to us.
