Hunted house

Once upon a time, there was a small town in the countryside of England, where the villagers believed in strange superstitions and ancient legends. They often talked about a cursed house at the end of the village, where an old witch resided. Many years ago, this witch had cursed the town and its inhabitants. Since then, the village had seen many disasters, and people had started to avoid the cursed house. However, a group of young thrill-seekers decided to explore the house, despite the warnings of the villagers.

It was a dark night when the group of five friends ventured into the cursed house. They had heard rumors of strange occurrences and supernatural activities inside the house. The entrance to the house was overgrown with weeds, and the front door was locked. The group climbed up the walls and broke into the house through a window on the second floor.

Inside, the house was dark and musty, with cobwebs and dust covering every surface. The floorboards creaked under their footsteps, and the walls seemed to murmur with ancient secrets. The friends split up to explore different parts of the house.

As they were investigating the downstairs living room, they heard a loud thud upstairs. One of the friends, named Alex, decided to check it out. As he walked up the stairs, he felt an eerie chill run down his spine. When he reached the second floor, he saw a figure standing at the end of the dark hallway. It was the old witch, who had cursed the town many years ago. Alex tried to run back down the stairs, but he stumbled and fell, and the witch disappeared into the shadows.

The rest of the friends gathered around Alex, who was shaking with fear. They decided to leave the house, but when they reached the door, they found it was locked from the outside. Panic set in among the group as they realized they were trapped inside the cursed house. They searched the house for another way out but found none. As they were wandering through the house, they heard strange creaking noises, whispers, and footsteps, but they could not figure out where the sounds were coming from.

When they reached the living room, they saw a ghostly figure floating in the center of the room. It was the ghost of the old witch, who had cursed the town many years ago. She cackled with evil laughter and told the group that they would be trapped inside the cursed house forever. She said that they would never leave the house alive, and their souls would be trapped inside the walls of the house for eternity.

The group was filled with terror and horror as they saw the ghostly figure of the old witch drawing nearer. Suddenly, one of the friends, named Sarah, remembered an old legend about breaking a witch's curse. The legend stated that if someone found the witch's wand, which was hidden somewhere inside the house, they could break the curse and free themselves from the witch's grip.

The group decided to split up and search the house for the wand. They searched every corner of the house, and finally, Alex found the wand hidden in a drawer in the attic. They quickly ran back to the living room, where the ghostly figure of the witch was still hovering in the air.

Alex held the wand and read out a spell from a small piece of paper, which they had found along with the wand. He pointed the wand towards the ghostly figure, and a bright light appeared, engulfing the entire room. When the light faded away, the group found themselves outside the cursed house, standing on the overgrown path leading into the village.

They were relieved to be out of the cursed house, but they were not sure what had happened to the old witch's ghost. They had broken the curse, but the villagers warned them that the witch's spirit might still haunt the town, seeking revenge on those who dared to explore her cursed house.

The friends never spoke of their experience again. They knew that the curse had been lifted, but they could never forget the horror they had faced inside the cursed house. They had learned a valuable lesson about venturing into the unknown and disturbing ancient spirits. The cursed house was left abandoned, and the villagers never mentioned it again. But when the night was dark, and the moon was full, some of them claimed to see a ghostly figure lurking near the overgrown path leading into the village. It was the old witch, seeking her revenge on those who had dared to enter her cursed house.
