Slappy: Tales of a Ventriloquist Dummy.

Slappy

Once upon a time, there was a mischievous ventriloquist dummy named Slappy. Slappy was a popular toy and was loved by children all over the world, but what most people didn't know was that he was alive and had a mind of his own.

Slappy loved to play pranks on people, especially his owner, a young boy named Billy. Billy had received Slappy as a birthday present and was thrilled to have him. However, things started to go wrong when Slappy began to take control of the household.

At first, it was just little things like moving objects around the room or making strange noises, but as time went on, Slappy's pranks became more dangerous. He would lock doors from the inside, trip people on the stairs, and even start fires.

Billy tried to tell his parents that Slappy was behind all the mischief, but they didn't believe him. They thought it was just a childish excuse for his own misbehavior.

One day, Billy had had enough. He decided to get rid of Slappy once and for all. He put the dummy in a box and took it to the attic, where he planned to leave it forever.

But as Billy was leaving the attic, he heard a voice behind him. It was Slappy, and he was angry. The dummy had come to life and was determined to get revenge on Billy for trying to get rid of him.

Slappy chased Billy around the attic, knocking over boxes and causing chaos. But just as Slappy was about to catch him, Billy had an idea. He grabbed a book called "The Dummy's Guide to Ventriloquism" and opened it to a page that read "How to Make a Dummy Go to Sleep."

Billy read the words aloud, and Slappy began to yawn. He fell to the ground and went limp. Billy quickly put the dummy back in the box and sealed it shut.

From that day forward, Slappy remained trapped in the attic, unable to cause any more trouble. Billy learned his lesson and never played with dangerous toys again.
