Dr. Victor was a brilliant scientist, but he was also a madcap. He spent times working in his laboratory, experimenting with chemicals and electricity to produce the perfect being. He was obsessed with the idea of creating life, of getting a god among men. And eventually, after times of exploration and trial, he succeeded.

The critter he'd created was unlike anything he'd ever seen ahead. It was a towering, hulking mass of meat and essence, with glowing red eyes and razor-sharp claws.Dr. Victor was enraptured. He'd done what no other scientist had been suitable to do- he'd created life.

But as he studied his creation more nearly,Dr. Victor began to realize that he'd made a terrible mistake. The critter he'd created wasn't happy to be a bare trial. It was alive, and it was angry.

At first, the critter simply goggled at its creator with an agitating intensity.Dr. Victor tried to ignore it, to concentrate on his work, but he could feel its eyes on him at all times. And also, one day, the critter spoke.

" Father," it said in a deep, growling voice." What have you done to me?"

Victor was startled. He'd noway anticipated his creation to be suitable to speak. But as he looked into its glowing red eyes, he saw a fury unlike anything he'd ever encountered.

" I've given you life," he said, trying to calm the critter." I've made you important."

The critter roared, a blaring sound that shook the walls of the laboratory." You have made me a monster," it said." You have cursed me to this actuality. I'll not rest until I've destroyed you and all of your kind."

Victor tried to flee, but the critter was too fast. It possessed him in the laboratory, its massive form blocking the only exit.Dr. Victor knew he was going to die.

But as the critter reached out to snare him, commodity strange happed. Its body began to agitate, and it let out a terrible gasp.Dr. Victor watched in horror as the critter's meat began to resolve piecemeal, revealing a glowing core of energy outside.

The energy core exploded, andDr. Victor was thrown across the laboratory by the force of the blast. When he came to, he saw that the critter was gone, replaced by a smoking crater in the bottom.

For times subsequently,Dr. Victor was visited by his creation. He noway returned to his laboratory, noway spoke of what had happed there. But late at night, when he was alone, he could still hear the critter's voice, still feel its rage burning inside him.

And as he lay dying, decades latterly, he realized the true horror of what he'd done. He'd created a monster, but in doing so, he'd also created a new form of life. A life that wasn't his to control, a life that would always be a trouble to him and everything he held dear.

Victor failed alone, with the memory of his creation and the horror of what he'd done to hang him ever. The laboratory remained abandoned, a monument to the idiocy of man's ambition and the peril of playing god.

. Its essence frame was twisted and broken, and its formerly- glowing eyes were now dark and breathless.

But as they approached the critter's remains, they heard a strange noise coming from behind them. It was a deep, growling sound, like the scowl of a wild beast.

They turned to run, but they were too late. The critter had returned, and it was more important than ever.

Its body had been rebuilt, stronger and further intimidating than ahead. Its eyes glowed with an unholy light, and its claws were razor-sharp.

The teenagers screamed and ran, but the critter was grim. It chased them through the laboratory, smashing through walls and tearing piecemeal ministry as it pursued them.

Eventually, they reached the exit, but the critter was there, blocking their way. They were trapped, with nowhere left to run.

And also, commodity strange happed. The critter's body began to glow, just as it had times ahead. The teenagers watched in horror as the critter began to shake, as if fighting some unseen force.

They stumbled out of the laboratory, shaken and scarified by what they had witnessed. But they knew that they would noway forget the horror of that night, the terror of coming face to face with a critter that should noway have was.

And as they made their way home, they could not help but wonder if there were other crazed scientists out there, other madcaps who were willing to play god and produce monsters in their laboratories. And if so, what horrors were staying to be unleashed upon the world?

The teenagers noway spoke of their experience again, but the memory of that night stayed with them ever. They knew that they had seen commodity that wasn't meant for mortal eyes, commodity that should noway have was.
