Door to Hell, Karakum Desert, Turkmenistan

A huge gas field in the Karakum desert. It is the size of an American soccer field. Why are you going to visit a spooky place? The flaming crater is known as "Door to Hell" could easily be confused with the Underworld Gateways. The crater was formed in 1971 when an underground natural gas cavern accidentally struck a Soviet drilling plant. The hole was lit to prevent an environmental disaster due to the release of poisonous fumes into the air. The hole remains burning more than 40 years later. Camp under the stars for another worldly experience and marvel at the infernal burning of the crater.

Bell Witch Cave -- Tennessee, USA

A skeletal visit of the Bell Witch Cave, the supposed former home of a bad witch who plagued the Bell family in the 1800s, can embrace the spirit of Southern Gothic. This bad spirit has supposedly poisoned and murdered patriarch John Bell and has caused devastation to his family and his daughter Betsy in particular. The witch was said to have been Kate Batts, a revolting neighbour. The storey is a Tennessee local legend and has been immortalised in novels and on display. It is rumoured that President Andrew Jackson was only afraid of visiting the estate.

Poveglia Island Venice, Italy

It was formerly a quarantine zone for plague suffering in the late 1700s. This beautiful island is haunted by its bizarre history. It then became a mentally unpleasant asylum in the 1920s. The spirits of the patients in the psychiatric hospital are presumably haunted on the island. Legend says that a sadistic doctor threw himself away from the bell tower, plagued by the visions of the patients he had tortured. The building remains, it remains an abandoned, rusty building. It almost became a luxury hotel in 2014, but the deal has passed, and it is a macabre reminder of its awful past.

The Tower of London, London, United Kingdom

Built- in 1097, it has more than 900 years of history, including the castle, fortress, and world heritage site. The Tower of London is the most haunted place in the UK, ranging from regal kings to tortured prisoners. Why are you going to visit a spooky place? It is no surprise with this rich history that the London Tower has a fair proportion of horrific stories. Many paranormal sightings, of which Anne Boleyn, the wife of notorious King Henry VIII is the most famous, have taken place throughout the years. His headless body was struck by the king's order in 1536 roaming around the tower. Not only a home for the dead, watch the tower's guards.

Bran Castle, Transylvania, Romania

Thanks to the chilling novel by Bram Stoker this impressive 14th-century castle is an awe-inspiring national monument. Why are you going to visit a spooky place? Bran Castle is Transylvania's only castle which corresponds to Dracula, the gothic horror novel. The story follows on from Count Dracula, a blood-sucking vampire, and his battle with the Vampire hunter Van Helsing. The story says that the evil spirits called "strigoi" act during the days in nearby villages like normal people, but in the evening their souls leave their bodies and torment the locals.

Catacombs Paris, France

Are you looking for an eager network of old caves and tunnels lined with dead bones? Walking down the roads of Paris and wander through the catacomb? You can now go to one of Paris' most fierce attractions, where the tubes and the sewer systems are approximately six million people and deeper in the underground. The catacombs were built to house overflowing cemeteries in the 18th century.

Don't miss the tourist trail - two teenagers were lost three days in the cavernous network in summer 2017. A few of the cave halls with hours from 10 a.m to 8:30 p.m. are open to the public.

Chernobyl Amusement ,Ukraine

Deserted fun parks can be quite nervous, but the reason for this abandonment is not only timid, and therefore dangerous in Chernobyl Fun Park, in the ghost tower of Pripyat, Ukraine. The Chernobyl nuclear disaster of 1986 closed the plant and caused the whole city to evacuate and the amusement park was unprofitable. The radiation remains, although people have long since left.
