Simpsons Predictions: Truth Revealed!
Simpsons Predictions

It’s only the beginning of 2025, and already it feels like some predictions from The Simpsons are coming true.
Take the massive wildfires in Los Angeles, for example. These fires spread across thousands of acres, destroying entire neighborhoods and leaving behind devastation. What’s surprising is that a very similar scene appeared in The Simpsons back on September 25, 2016 — showing an American town engulfed in flames, reduced to smoke and ashes.
Now, when you compare aerial photos of Los Angeles after the fires with that old scene, the resemblance is honestly shocking.
But the real question is: how much of this is actually real prediction… and how much is coincidence?
You’ve probably seen that famous photo from 2017 where Donald Trump, King Salman, and Abdel Fattah el-Sisi are placing their hands on a glowing orb.
What makes it even more mysterious is that a similar scene appeared in The Simpsons years earlier. So people started asking:
Was this predicted? Or was something already planned behind the scenes?
Before jumping to conclusions, let’s understand what The Simpsons actually is.
First aired in 1989, this legendary animated sitcom now has over 700 episodes and holds the record as the longest-running scripted show in history. While it started as a kids’ cartoon, today it appeals to audiences of all ages — mainly because of these so-called “predictions.”
Some Famous “Predictions”
In a 1998 episode, Homer writes a complex equation on a board. Years later, scientists working on the Higgs boson (also called the “God Particle”) realized that the equation was surprisingly close to real calculations.
In 1995, the show featured London’s skyline — including a tall, cone-shaped building. Years later, that exact structure became reality as The Shard.
In another episode, The Simpsons hinted that 20th Century Fox would one day belong to Walt Disney — which actually happened years later.
Back in 2000, the show joked about Donald Trump becoming president — something that seemed unlikely at the time, but came true in 2016.
They even listed Bengt R. Holmström as a future Nobel Prize winner — and he actually won in 2016.
What About 2025?
Some predictions that people believe could happen soon include:
A female U.S. president
Brain-chip technology like the work being done by Elon Musk’s company Neuralink
Rise of cryptocurrency dominance
Breakthroughs in fusion energy
Even futuristic holographic communication
But Here’s the Truth…
Not everything is what it seems.
Some scenes were actually created after real events happened, then shared online as if they were old predictions. For example, the glowing orb scene was based on a real 2017 photo — the show recreated it later.
Also, some moments (like Trump on the escalator) were animated after the real footage came out.
So, Are They Really Predicting the Future?
Not exactly.
The real secret behind The Simpsons is:
Smart observation of global trends
Understanding of politics, tech, and society
And… a bit of coincidence
With over 700 episodes and countless storylines, it’s natural that some scenes eventually match real-life events.
Final Thought
The Simpsons doesn’t have a crystal ball. It just has brilliant writers who understand where the world might be heading.
And sometimes… when you make enough guesses — a few of them are bound to come true.
