George W. Bush: Biography

I was searching for topics to write , suddenly i remember a incident " The 9/11 " so after some research I'm writing a biography about America's 43rd president George W. Bush.

Early life ;

George W. Bush was born in a political family on July 6 , 1946 in new heaven.

He was the eldest son of George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the USA & Barbara bush. He was raised in this political family

His early adulthood & education ;

He was attended Philips academy in Andover & later he goes to Yale university. In 1968 he was graduated from history. After that he served as pilot in the Texas Air National Guard during the Vietnam era. He also have a MBA from Harvard business school.

Personal life & business ;

In 1977 he married Laura welch a librarian , they had twin daughters in 1981. He also had a bad alcohol habit although he quit it successfully in 1986.

Before all of these he was entered in oil business but he can barely achieve a limited success.

' A wonder right ? From a businessman to president... Nowadays exactly this is happening , doctors & businessman's are in politics although Bush has a political family that's why he has the proper political knowledge. '

Entry into politics ;

In 1978 he ran for Congress for the first time. He became very active during his father's presidential campaign in 1988 he successfully grab the attention by his approach and focus on education and tax reforms. His father gave him political education.

The President Election 2000 ;

In 2000 , Bush get nomination from republican against democrat Al Gore. That election was one of the most disputed in us history. In a highly contested election Bush won the Electoral College, though he lost the popular vote.

A presidency transformed by tragedy ;

On 11 September 2001 The United States suffered one of the worst terrorist attacks in history. A terrorist group named Al qaeda hijacked four commercial airplanes. Two planes crashed into the Twin Towers. 3rd one hit the Pentagon near Washington DC ,

and the fourth, United Airlines Flight 93, crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. Nearly 3000 people were killed in this terrorist attack. After this deadly event bush launched war against terror. Begin with the military operations against terrorist's of Afghanistan and later in 2003 leading to the controversial invasion of Iraq. After this tragedy USA

is strongly committed to building a world free of terrorism, although there is much debate about this.

Domestic policies and challenges ;

Bush passed major tax cuts, the No Child Left Behind Act. He also expanded Medicare to include prescription drug coverage. anyways he was criticized over the response to Hurricane Katrina and the growing national debt.

Re election & his second term ;

In 2004 , bush was re elected by defeating democrat John kerry. He earned tons of public dissatisfaction by continuing conflict in Iraq & also for the 2008 financial crisis.

Life after White House ;

He left the White House

He left office in January 2009 with low approval ratings... it was predicted because of the high public dissatisfaction & some wrong step accelerated it. But bush's image softened over time. He started to focusing on writing, painting, and humanitarian efforts.

Legacy and Historical Impact ;

George W. Bush remains a complex figure in American history. His presidency is remembered for strong leadership after 9/11, but also for controversial decisions in war and economic policy.People are both good and bad, so you will judge how his rule was by looking at his two sides.

George W. Bush and his family had several pets during his presidency & they were well loved members of the White House too. There are 2 dogs & 1 cat named Barney ( dog ) Miss beazley ( female dog ) & India " Willie "

He enjoys painting ;

One of Bush’s favorite hobbies now is painting. He paints portraits of people, including world leaders and American military veterans.

He runs the Bush center ;

In Dallas, Texas - he started the George W. Bush center. A place that works on big issues like education, economic growth, and helping people around the world.

He supports veterans and humanitarian efforts ;

Bush continues to help military veterans, especially those wounded in war. Recently, the Bush Institute praised government efforts to send emergency aid to people in need around the world.

He stays out of politics & something you can see him big national or presidential events.

Aside from politics and painting, George W. Bush is also known for his sense of humor and love for outdoor activities. He enjoys biking, golfing, and spending time at his Texas ranch.
