A Eric Vegas Story
— from my 2019-2022 archive. My story I went from telling other creator's stories to my own.

I used to tell an Instagram creator Eric Vegas before finding my own voice towards creating content. I felt inspired to create "A Story" series based on what I did for college class. It all started with "A Caitlin Barnhill Story" that was just a documentary then, I decided to make it into a series to tell other creator's their story. So, I created their stories in unique way since it would differentiate from the traditional way of telling a documented lifestyle. This "A story" series, my journey to Jesus began with the 2019 pandemic, and with an old Instagram account.
When there was COVID 19 that's when there was a pandemic. The pandemic was chaotic for me to even retain negative information all at once. So, I closed myself indoors, in my bedroom, and started brainstorming ideas for my old Instagram account. Before I just posting pictures of myself for Instagram, I asked Eric Vegas if I could use his content to create something beyond just creating a documentary for a class. I did with intention and purpose - that was why I created "A Story" series before I found my own way to Jesus. Nevertheless, it was a strange time while was the spread of the coronavirus was happening for a whole complete year.
Besides talking about the pandemic, I always knew there's someone higher but couldn't quite put my finger on it. I was still stuck in a dark path. But now, since I was able to find my way to Jesus. I decided to make a promise to Him to never go back to that dark path again. However, this is what lead me to find my own voice and find my way to Jesus. There's always a backstory to your life, how you were brought out of there, and then changed for Him. I guess, you can say this is kind of my testimony too.
Anyways, I enjoyed telling other people's stories for a short period of time until I realized I need to start telling my own story instead. But telling other people's stories was a form of deception, not living in terms with Jesus' truth and the way He wants me to live for myself as one of His chosen people. Yet, I took initiative to produce my own content under my old Instagram account after I started creating Eric Vegas' story as well as Caitlin Barnhill's story.
My old Instagram account was under the name "chainlostsoul." And it literally means bound in chains of sin as well as being a lost soul. Besides, "chain" was a metaphor as empowerment for me after I decided to shut my old account down. It was the end of an era.
Now, I overcame my fear of stopping myself and just letting things flow together.
I almost never would revisit my archives of producing old content but I would definitely benefit from taking a trip back to memory lane. As I strongly believe every story I make is in an intentional manner, never random or trending on social media, it's just never who I am as a person who creates raw content on social media as well as writing for Pateron and here on Vocal Media. It's a part of me that story needs to be told.
With this chapter in my life I revisited and to tell my fellow audience my story behind how and why create social media content different from everyone else's. Perhaps you can tell it's a unique way of storytelling because it's material made from scratch. And of course, using the tools to make everything come together and flow together.
