Hello again! It's another weekly news roundup, here are some of the news that made the news this week:
• Taylor Swift Sued by Theme Park
A theme park in Utah called Evermore is suing Taylor Swift for using the name of the park as her new album’s name and in album merchandise.
Evermore, the theme park, say they have trademarked the name ‘Evermore’ for several purposes including clothing and other merchandise sold by them. Now that Swift is selling merchandise with that same name, they are claiming that that is grounds for a lawsuit. They claim that since Swift used the name, their business has gone down, and they might be out of business soon. They had sent a cease and desist to Swift in 2020 but are now suing for millions.
Swift’s camp has claimed the lawsuit is flippant and a money grab.
• Cicely Tyson Passed Away at 96
Legendary actor Cicely Tyson Passed away at 96 last week. At the time of her death, Tyson had just released her memoir, Just as I Am, and had been doing press for the release even until a day before her death.
The beloved actor’s family has decided that a public viewing for her will be held on February 15th at the Abyssinian Baptist Church, Harlem between 10am and 6pm.

• Jeff Bezos Stepping Down as CEO
Jeff Bezos is stepping down as the CEO of Amazon. But he’s still remaining as Chief of Board. About the change in role, Bezos said, “As Exec Chair I will stay engaged in important Amazon initiatives but also have the time and energy I need to focus on the Day 1 Fund, the Bezos Earth Fund, Blue Origin, The Washington Post, and my other passions. I’ve never had more energy, and this isn’t about retiring. I’m super passionate about the impact I think these organizations can have…”.
Bezos will be replaced by the current AWS CEO, Andy Jassy, sometime later in the year.
• Lamar Odom Fighting Aaron Carter
In ‘who asked for this?’ news, Lamar Odom is reported to be fighting Aaron carter in a celebrity boxing match slated for June 12th in Atlantic City.
Damon Feldman, celebrity boxing fixer, announced the fight and said "It's gonna be a war, man. It's gonna be a knockout, no doubt."
Odom and Carter have been displaying their training episodes on their social media pages and also calling out each other.

• Rita Ora Forced to Quarantine in Australia, Deletes Instagram Posts
Singer Rita Ora has been forced to quarantine after landing in Australia to film the show The Voice.
She has repeatedly come under fire for flouting Covid rules, flying from Egypt to the UK without quarantining but holding a birthday party in the UK where she allegedly bribed the venue and had CCTV covered.
The Singer also deletes all her Instagram posts, but posted a picture announcing a new music collaboration with other musicians.
• Rapper Lil Uzi Vert Has $24 Million Dollar Implanted on Forehead
Rapper Lil Uzi Vert had a $24 million pink diamond implanted on his forehead.
The rapper claims he has been paying off the diamond since 2017, and only just finished paying it off, so decided to implant the diamond on his forehead so he doesn’t lose it.
He also claims he had insurance for the diamond, which is a good thing.
• Kanye West Facing Lawsuits Over Sunday Service
Kanye West is being sued by hundreds of his Sunday Service employees who claim that they have been owed wages and ill-treated.
Suits were filed last year by around 800 performers and also MyChannel which is suing West for more than $20 million claiming he neglected their partnership and stole technology for his Sunday Service.
