Here we go again! It’s another weekly news roundup, here are some of the news that made the news this week:
• Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Married? Maybe
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes sparked marriage rumours when they were pictured out with their kids, Esmeralda and Amada, this week.
The super private couple who have been together for almost 10 years were pictured on a hike with their daughters and Mendes was wearing a big engagement ring on that finger.
Knowing how private the couple are, we might never get an official announcement. But, congrats to them if they are.
• Halsey Is Expecting a Baby
Congratulations are in order for singer Halsey. She announced on Instagram that she was expecting a baby with two maternity pictures.
This will be her first child with producer Alev Aydin who she’s been dating for a while now. They have been reported to have been friends for two years now, but it is not clear when they began a romantic relationship. They were first spotted as a couple in June 2020.
• Keeping up with the Kardashians Final Season Trailer is released
The trailer for the final season of the KUWTK show aired this week. In it, an emotional Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner share the news of the impending end of their show to staff. Khloe Kardashian tells baby daddy Tristan Thompson that she’s ready to have another baby. And, the sisters speculate on the close relationship between Kourtney and her baby daddy Scott.
We also see Kris’ boyfriend Corey Gamble and the elusive Rob Kardashian at the table. Interesting stuff.
The final season of KUWTK will premiere on March 18th on E!
• Pamela Anderson Marries Bodyguard
Pamela Anderson is married. The actress got married to her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, whom she said she fell in love with during the Covid lockdown.
The super private ceremony which was attended by just the local pastor and a witness was held at Anderson’s Vancouver home.
This is the fifth marriage for the actress. Congratulations to them.
• Larry King Passed Away
The talk show host passed away this week at the age of 87. King was hospitalised with Covid earlier this month and passed away at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, LA.
The beloved talk show host was last seen in holiday snaps with his sons.
Rest in peace and condolences who his family who asked for privacy in the post announcing his passing.
• Dragon Den’s Tej Lalvani Exits Show
British CEO Tej Lalvani, one of the dragons on the Dragon Den show, has confirmed his exit from the long-standing show.
Lalvani who is CEO of Vitabiotics has been a dragon on the show for four years said, “after an incredibly enjoyable four years as a Dragon I have decided that this next series will be my last. My commitment to the international growth and expansion of my core business and the numerous investments over the years sadly means I will be unable to dedicate the necessary time moving forward.”
Lavlani will however appear on the show’s 18th season which premieres in spring 2021 as this was filmed in 2020.
• Bridgerton Wins Big for Netflix
Netflix’s period drama Bridgerton has been acclaimed as the streaming giant’s biggest series to date.
Bridgerton which was adapted from writer Julia Quinn’s historical novels focuses on the members of the fictional Bridgerton family in London of the 1800s. The show premiered in 2020.
Netflix is reporting that 82 million households worldwide tuned in to watch the show in its first 28 days online, the biggest watch record yet for Netflix.
