Get ready for an exciting lineup of remarkable K-Dramas awaiting release in 2024 - 2025. Some of the industry's biggest names, like Lee Min Ho, Gong Yoo, Bae Suzy, and IU, are set to star in these shows.

Here are some of the K-dramas to anticipate:

You Have Done Well

Most anticipated pairing of IU and Park Bo Gum is finally happening in the new K-drama, “You Have Done Well.” The story follows the adventurous life stories of rebellious Ae-soon and the cast-iron man Gwan-sik, who were born on Jeju Island in the 1950s.

Ask the Star

Lee Min Ho returns to the screen in the lead role of "Ask the Star," alongside Gong Hyo Jin as his romantic interest. The series revolves around the fateful encounter of a space tourist and an astronaut on a space station.

Everything Will Come True

If you've already immersed yourself in the emotional rollercoaster of "Uncontrollably Fond" and find yourself yearning for an alternate universe where the beloved characters reunite, then "Everything Will Come True" promises to be your next captivating series. Directed by Lee Byung Hun, with a screenplay by Kim Eun Sook, this new drama marks the reunion of Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy after tugging at our heartstrings in their previous collaboration.

In this story, Kim Woo Bin portrays a genie trapped inside a lamp for an extended period. However, he's not your typical supernatural being; his entrapment comes with a profound emotional burden. Enduring a punishment that leads to intense emotional outbursts, from sudden anger to profound sadness, the genie's journey unfolds with gripping intensity. Meanwhile, Bae Suzy's character, Ga Young, is depicted as someone who initially lacks emotions. Her encounter with the lamp sets off a chain of events that culminate in her freeing the genie, sparking a complex and potentially life-changing relationship between them.

The Trunk

Another K-drama star making a romantic comeback in 2024 is Gong Yoo, starring alongside Seo Hyun Jin in the Netflix Original series. The K-drama centers around In-Ji (Seo Hyun-Jin), who works for NM, a company specializing in contract marriages. In-Ji has already completed four contract marriages when she meets Jung-Won (Gong Yoo) for her fifth assignment. Jung-Won, a music producer, carries with him anxiety and loneliness from his painful past, particularly missing his ex-wife Seo-Yeon, who arranged for NM to find him a new spouse. As Jung-Won embarks on his second marriage with In-Ji, their bond deepens over time. However, the discovery of a mysterious trunk begins to unravel the secrets of the matchmaking service.

Queen Woo

Ji Chang Wook returns to the spotlight in the historical drama "Queen Woo," where the narrative revolves around Queen Woo (played by Jeon Jong Seo). Following the sudden death of the King, she faces a daunting challenge: to select a new King within a mere 24 hours. This urgent task catapults her into the crosshairs of five tribes and multiple princes, each vying fiercely for the throne

Squid Game 2

Netflix's record-breaking K-Drama, "Squid Game," is making its highly anticipated return with its second season. The first season, launched in 2021, became a phenomenal hit and marked the first Korean show to claim the number one spot in the U.S. The story revolves around a secretive competition where players risk their lives by participating in a series of deadly children's games, all for the chance to win a tempting prize of 45.6 billion won.

For fans eagerly awaiting the second season, the wait won't be long. "Squid Game" season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix this year.
