Twilight: A Quick Overall Revisit

Who wouldn't like a love triangle that deals with a Human, Vampire, and a Werewolf? All the while having their existence threatened by Vampires nonetheless. If you've never seen any of The Twilight Saga Movies, I'm going to give you an extremely quick rundown.

Bella Swan moves to Forks and Meets Edward Cullen. She discovers he's a vampire and still falls in love with him. After a game of baseball with the Cullen's they come across vampires who have been killing in their territory. Bella's scent is caught by James; she's then chased down by the murderous Vampire. She makes up excuses to leave her father in Forks for his safety and goes on the run. In the end The Cullen Clan comes to the rescue and helps in defeating James(Twilight).

Her Best Friend Jacob becomes her solace when Edward breaks up with her in order to protect her and to make sure she has a long life and experiences everything. Jacob then turns into a werewolf and pushes Bella away because he's not allowed to tell her anything about it. She figures it out confronting him thinking him and the pack are murderous because of an influx of murders in the area. She's then clued into what's going on and is visited by Alice (Edwards "sister") after cliff diving because it was her only connection to visions of Edward.

Alice had seen Bella disappear and thought she was dead. She informed the family of her returning to Forks to check on Charlie and Rosalie (another "sister" of Edwards) informs him of Alice's vision when he calls in for a monthly check in. During Jacob's confession of his feelings to Bella, Edward calls to confirm the story and is told that Charlie is helping plan a funeral. It's then a race against the clock because Edward wants to die and have the Volturi (Vampire Hierarchy) kill him. They refuse and before he can expose himself to the humans Bella saves him. In the end Edward has to promise that Bella will be changed into a Vampire since she's human and knows too much (New Moon).

Now the Vampires and Werewolves team up to take down an army of newborn vampires created by Victoria, who was James' mate. Ya know the one they killed from Twilight. She's back yet again to exact revenge and wants to do that by killing Bella since Edward killed James. Of course all of this has to happen while Bella is graduating High School and trying to make a plan for when she wants to be changed into a vampire.

Also while her father is making her hangout with Jacob as a condition to be released from her punishment for running off in New Moon. During one of their visits with one another Jacob kisses Bella reminding her that she has another choice. She punches him and goes home where her father breaks up Edward and Jacob from throwing any punches. Bella had that covered obviously. They still train together so they have advantages against the younger and stronger yet very naive Vampires. Instead of joining the fray and being in the middle of all the danger, Bella and Edward are going to seclude themselves to keep her safe. With the help of the werewolves it should be an easy battle.

The night before they run up the mountain Edward asks Bella to Marry him. And says it's his condition of changing her himself. She accepts because she wants him to be the one to change her. No need to mention that her and Jacob kiss again in an attempt of hers to keep him up on the mountain with Her, Edward and Seth. It doesn't work because after the kiss he takes off to join in on the battle.

The battle is swift but the Volturi still show up. Their Henchmen that will later become important warn them that their time is running out and that Bella needs to be changed soon as they don't give second chances. At the end of the movie they're on their way to see Charlie to deliver the news that they're getting married. (Eclipse).

Wedding!!! Well, it's supposed to be exciting. But Jacob is missing. He took off after he realized they were truly getting married and that he wasn't gonna win Bella over. Bella makes it down the aisle to joining in matrimony with the love of her life. After some family drama Jacob shows up out of nowhere, giving Bella the best wedding present ever (his presence) only to ruin it. He assumed that night was to be her last, when in fact it wasn't.

Jacob argues that it's too dangerous and she could die if they had a normal Honeymoon. He was forced to leave by the pack before matters got worse. They did go on their honeymoon. They did do the deed. Edward felt horrible after doing the deed because he believed he injured her and that she was lying. What he didn't know was that their deed did do some type of damage…

She came to the realization after getting sick that she was late. Thinking it impossible, she questioned it. Only to be told by Edward that they would be going home to "take care of it". Bella reaches out to Rosalie to help her and her unborn child.

Now while all of this is going on and Bella and Edward are back home, no one knows. Jacob finds out that Charlie finally received a call from Bella and he rushes over to the Cullens house to confront Carlisle about what's going on the pain that Charlie is going through. He hears Bella and finds out that she's been home and is heavily pregnant. We won't get into the arguments that took place, or the deal making that was attempted. Because there are just too many.

Major one being that the pack finds out that Bella is having a child fathered by Edward. Because they know nothing about what this child could become they view it as a threat and want to murder it no matter that Bella is still pregnant. Well the pregnancy is just dangerous at every angle for her. Bella is dying. This child is killing her from the inside out.

A snide thought leads to an epiphany that the child is not craving food, it is craving blood. Because it is half human and half vampire. Who'd have thought that. Once things start looking up, they're not. Bella is running out of blood and can go into labor at any point. In fact when Carlisle (Edwards "dad"), Esme (Edwards "mom"), and Emmett (Edwards "brother") make an emergency trip to go and retrieve blood, she does go into labor.

Hard labor sucks when there are already so many variables. One of which is when werewolves find out and want to come crash the party. After Bella gives birth to their daughter Renesmee, she is able to comment on her daughter's beauty and goes still and silent. Edward injects her with his venom and starts biting main veins to help the process along. Jacob curses him and walks away heartbroken by his belief that Bella didn't make it.

His grief, so overwhelming, spurs him to kill the baby. BIG MISTAKE. Jacob imprints (involuntarily matching of soul mate.) on Renesmee. The wolves descend on them all ready to fight and kill. However, are stopped in their tracks because of Jacob's imprinting. They cannot harm or kill the baby due to their own laws. Bella spends her next few days changing and healing comatose. (Breaking Dawn pt 1)

Coming to, Bella feels complete. She was made to be supernatural and just never knew this was to be her life until that very moment. She is able to supersede obstacles and not give into feeding on a human. Control fully in place she meets Renesmee face to face. This is where she learns her daughter is also gifted. She is able to project her memories into someone else by touch.

However Jacob shows himself overly protective of the baby and comes clean about him imprinting on her. Momma Bear Bella loses her cool and takes him outside to deal with it. Understanding downed on her quickly and they moved on from it. Matters always only get worse! Charlie wants to know what's going on with his daughter. The last he knew was Bella was very ill and was going to a health facility. It's been days since hearing from her due to her changing.

The Cullens have to move because the decision is to tell him she died. Jacob isn't okay with that and shows himself to Charlie in his werewolf form. Explaining to Charlie that Bella had to change and that's all he can know. Nothing else. Charlie sees his daughter for the first time in months and can recognize the change. Bella is able to keep control and not drink him up.

They introduce Renesmee to Charlie, and his understanding is that she's their niece they adopted. But can tell there's more to it than they're saying.

Hurriedly we're gonna gloss over a couple points. Bella and Edward are gifted with their own little cottage for their family. Located close to the Cullen House. Renesmee is growing at a rapid rate and they will need to possibly travel to find answers. Alice is constantly on watch for decisions from The Volturi.

One of the Denali cousins come to apologize for the drama from their wedding and sees Renesmee. Instantly she takes off thinking that they've created an immortal child (child bitten and turned into a vampire). Without time to explain, Alice sees a vision of the cousin going to The Volturi. Also telling them the Cullens have broken the law. Because of this they will be coming in full succession and with witnesses to judge and condemn them all. They assemble quickly because Alice left behind a note telling them to do so.

Set on a task to prove to friends of Carlisle's and the Cullens, that Renesmee isn't an immortal child, does grow, and was born from Bella as a human. After gathering so many witnesses the fact that this happens with Volturi on occasion shows a pattern. They do this to big clans and end up collecting Vampires with Gifts to add to their numbers. Edward has always known that Aro wants to collect Alice and himself. Because their gifts are so unique.

Edward will not go down without a fight! Prompting him to ask the witnesses that have assembled that if it comes to it, will they fight with him for his family. Of course almost all of them are immediately on board. Some take a small bit of persuading and one just leaves. The werewolves will fight alongside them no matter what. And since there's such a massive influx of Vampires in the area (witnesses) more Quiletes change into werewolves. So the pack is substantially bigger.

Once the Volturi arrive they bear witness to the fact that the child is not an immortal child. Renesmee was in fact born from Bella while she was human and Edward was her biological father. The cousin that claimed they had broken a law was destroyed in front of her family. Which almost kicked off a fight. It was stopped and Bella was able to shine through. SO remember when I said there were characters from Eclipse that would become important later.

Now is where they become important. Jane and Alec are twins, they are both very powerful. Jane can make you feel whatever she wants just by looking at you and thinking about it. Alec produces a blackness that comes from him. It'll blind you and deprive you of all of your senses. Aro will use these twins to Judge and condemn them how he sees fit. Bella can shield everyone against those powers. As long as they're outside her "bubble" or "stream".

Once this is brought to light. Aro has to conduct the judgement in front of them as they're fully coherent. Alice shows up in the nick of time to show Aro what will happen.

Aro sees that the consequences of his actions will ultimately lead to not only his demise but the demise of all Volturi. Instead of going through with what he planned, he hears them out. Alice being the smart one she is not only brought him the vision but something more. She also found another child born the same way as Renesmee. Answers are here! Renesmee will become full grown after 7 years of life. She's not hindered by time as the hybrid witness they brought was 150. As well he had not changed since reaching full maturity. Also could survive on Blood or Human Food. Aro dropped everything and took his leave knowing that he'd come across a very powerful family that could take them all down.

They're able to move forward with life knowing that Renesmee was not in danger anymore. That their family was in the clear for now. So thankful to everyone they send them all on their way home and back to their own lives, as they do the same. (Breaking Dawn pt 2.)

Well this Twilight revisit definitely was fast and a good refresher for those who haven't watched it in a while. Also a good summary for those who've never seen it before. You're either setting up everything for a re-watch or first time watch through. Either way enjoy the craziness that Stephanie Meyers Twilight Series brought to us just from a dream about a field. Takes one creative imagination to come up with all of this from one simple dream of a field.
