The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Christine may be heading to The Bold and the Beautiful

Another crossover will take place between the CBS soaps

The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless may soon have another crossover episode and fans of both daytime series seem to enjoy them. Soaps.com says this time Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams) might make a trip from Genoa City to Los Angeles. Bell has been on the soap her parents William and Lee Bell created in 1973 since 1983. She began as a teen model and quickly became a fan favorite but for years she has been recurring and not on contract.

Over the decades there have been crossovers going both ways between The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful with characters from each soap going to the other. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E Bregman), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier) are but a few of the characters from Y&R who spent time on B&B. Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), left GC and is now a permanent fixture in LA while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)left Los Angeles and now has put down roots In Genoa City.

During an interview, Bell said her brother Brad Bell the executive producer of The Bold and the Beautiful told her he had been thinking about having her character return to LA for quite a while. Christine traveled to the fashion world of Forrester Creations in 2007 to defend Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss-now Thorsten Kaye). Ridge was accused of killing Grant Chambers ( Charles Grant) but it was later revealed that it was his half-brother Rick Forrester Jacob Young) who killed Grant.

Doug Davidson's shadow

Lauralee says she would enjoy Christine going to LA but she would like it if this time around her trip would not be business related. She added, however, that she would do whatever she is told. Bell is a professional and knows how to conduct herself. Other soap actors have made public complaints over the years but Bell keeps her thoughts to herself. She has not said one word about her former castmate and husband on the soap Doug Davidson (Paul WIlliams) being let go after 40 years and his character being retired off-screen.

Y&R fans were devastated and had petitions going to bring Davidson back to the soap but they were in vain. Through it all Bell never let how she felt about losing her popular co-star and she rolled with the punches. It's never been made clear whether or not her working on an as-needed basis is Lauralee's idea or a decision of the writers but fans would enjoy seeing more of her character.

Brad Bell may have his way

Since Brad Bell has told his sibling that he wants to see her on the sister soap and Lauralee Bell says she will comply with her boss (Josh Griffith) the fans can be assured this will become a reality, hopefully, sooner rather than later. Perhaps she might meet someone new and begin a romance since things did not work out with Danny Romalati (Michael Damien). When Damien returned to The Young and the Restless for the 50th-anniversary celebration the two had a few scenes together and viewers could see there was still chemistry between them but Danny only stuck around until after the fake funeral of Phyllis Summers (Michele Stafford).

Since Phyllis "died" Christine has been in more recent episodes than during the past few years. Her followers want to see the character develop and move forward now that she is divorced and there is no chance of Davidson returning as Paul.
