I finally got to watch the Shift and it's okay.

Angel Studios is founded by the mormon faith. This faith is a false faith from Christianity. These are my personal personal beliefs.

The Synopsis:

Kevin Gardner (Kristoffer Polaha ) gives off Book of Job vibes using his faith in God as a weapon against the Devil himself. This movie was set in the dystopian setting where the Devil has doctor strange vibes in controlling the muiltiverse. Everything in Kevin's life wonderful when he loses his job and meets a lovely girl at a bar. This is when the audience thinks everything is going great for Kevin. Usually in every Christian movie when something is going wonderful this is when the Devil ( decides to put your faith to the test. His wife and him get into an argument about bills and truck hits his car. Things take a nose dive when Kevin ends up being shifted into a different reality when some mysterious man saves him. He is called the Benefactor (Neal McDonough ) while this man helps by addressing his wounds from the accident in the previous reality. He slaps him around a few times and invites him to eat a meal together.

My Thoughts:

As a Christian when I watched this movie it gave off God vs. Lucifer vibes obviously. I thought it was okay but the storyline was very horrible with insufficient bible verses that I knew weren't in the Christian Bible but the book of Mormon. The LDS Community created this storyline that's according to their take on the faith. I'm a religous women not a bible thumper. I believe everyone is entilted to believing however, they want. It just felt weird to me watching this movie the vibes didn't feel right. It felt like the God vs. Lucifer battle field is kinda not reliable. I got the vibes that in the movie Lucifer had more of a voice and Kevin might have been a mouth piece for God. I felt like the storyline was varse from the Christian belief. There is always that one minor character in every Christian movie that is meant to be a betrayer this will be Kevin's alley Gabriel (Sean Astin) who is a follower and close alley with the Benefactor.

This has to be just a screen test but still I love it. I just wish it was Christian based.

My thoughts on the film:

Honestly, my thoughts on the film are not really accurate to the Christian faith. Though the actor does a great job in his role to me his words shared are very very controversial to the Christian faith.

Honestly this is just his opinion in my heart of hearts I don't think Lucifer regrets his decision to rebel. I think maybe he wishes he done it better. Before Lucifer's fall from grace he was the Father's right hand man. And when you are someone's right hand man this means extremely close. So when Lucifer rebelled against the Father he betrayed God. As humans God gave us freewill, however, he gave his angel's freewill too. Lucifer uses his words to say to get in our heads making us question why God doesn't Lucifer and save us. With the gift of freewill he has gifted us with God can't do that. His precious gift if he took it back we would be puppets nothing more.

Would I recommend this movie?

No absolutely not, for me personally. I think it's a misconception of my belief.

Final thoughts:

My rating for this movie is 3.0 out 10, because of the misconception of faith. This bible verses were from the book of mormon not the KJV (King James Verse) New Living Bible also is translated in todays language not old english. The plot is just very disappointing, and the ending of the movie. Kevin doesn't even defeat the Devil he is stuck in something like movie Leo DiCaprio Inception short of shit. Like honestly the message I got out of that was Kevin's faith didn't change anything. It left him in a some fucking reality where Lucifer.
