In this series, Goku faces new enemies such as Beerus, the God of Destruction; Zamasu, a rogue Kaioshin; and Jiren, a powerful fighter from Universe 11. Dragon Ball Super also introduces new transformations such as Super Saiyan God and Ultra Instinct. Dragon Ball Super is a must-watch for any fan of action-packed shonen anime.

Cowboy Bebop (1998–1999)

Cowboy Bebop is a stylish sci-fi anime that mixes elements of westerns, noir, comedy, and jazz. It follows the adventures of Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine, ED(Edward WongHau Pepelu Tivrusky IV), and Ein, a ragtag crew of bounty hunters who travel across the solar system in search of criminals and cash. However, they also have to deal with their own pasts and personal demons that haunt them. Cowboy Bebop is a classic anime that blends action, humor, drama, and music.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009–2010)

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a remake of Fullmetal Alchemist, based on the original manga by Hiromu Arakawa. It follows the journey of Edward and Alphonse Elric, two brothers who lost their bodies in a failed attempt to resurrect their mother using alchemy. They join the military as state alchemists and search for the Philosopher’s Stone, a legendary artifact that can restore their bodies. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is an action-packed adventure that also explores themes such as family, friendship, sacrifice, and redemption.

Naruto Shippuden (2007–2017)

Naruto Shippuden is the sequel to Naruto, one of the most popular shonen anime of all time. It follows the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who dreams of becoming Hokage, the leader of his village. Along with his friends and allies, he faces powerful enemies, deadly threats, and personal challenges as he grows up and learns more about his destiny. Naruto Shippuden is an epic saga that spans over 500 episodes and features some of the most thrilling battles, emotional moments, and iconic characters in anime history.

One Piece (1999)

Another long-running & on of my Favourite shonen anime that has captured the hearts of many fans is One Piece, Created by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate who dreams of becoming the King of Pirates by finding the legendary treasure One Piece. Along his journey, he forms a crew called the Straw Hat Pirates and encounters many foes and allies in his quest. One Piece is known for its epic battles, hilarious comedy, emotional moments, and creative world-building. With over 1000 episodes and counting, One Piece is one of the most successful anime series ever.

Death Note (2006–2007)

Death Note is a psychological thriller that explores the morality of justice and power. It tells the story of Light Yagami, a genius high school student who finds a mysterious notebook that can kill anyone whose name is written in it. He decides to use it to rid the world of criminals and create a utopia under his rule. However, he soon attracts the attention of L, a mysterious detective who vows to stop him at any cost. Death Note is a gripping game of cat-and-mouse that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

Attack on Titan (2013–2022)

Attack on Titan is an action anime that depicts a dark and brutal world where humanity lives in fear of giant humanoid creatures called Titans that devour humans on sight. The story follows Eren Yeager, a young boy who vows to exterminate all Titans after witnessing his mother’s death by one of them. He joins the Survey Corps, an elite military force that fights against Titans outside the walls that protect humanity’s last bastion. Attack on Titan is known for its gripping plot, shocking revelations, dynamic animation, and powerful soundtrack.
