The Correct Order to Watch the X-Men Movies

But like the overall continuation plot of this series, it doesn't really matter.

X-Men. The incredible group of super friends who continuously save the world and teach us how terrible and juvenile racism is. But this article isn't an in depth, psychological analysis of the X-Men comics/movies. I'm here to tell you that the way you watch them is wrong, and you're going to read it and think to yourself "this bitch is wrong." and then you'll forward it to someone and tell them how wrong I am; and by then you've given more thought into the movies than the writers of Days of Future Past did. So let's get on with it.

So here is a list of the X-Men movies ordered by their release date, so we can relive the unholy order of which they were given to us:

X-Men (2000)

X2 (2003)

X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

X-Men: First Class (2011)

The Wolverine (2013)

X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)

Deadpool (2016)

X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)

Logan (2017)

Deadpool 2 (2018)

Dark Phoenix (2019)

First off, there was no better casting than Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. The casting directors who picked them should be praised every damn day for the rest of their lives because those men were BORN to be those cocky, crime-fighting bastards.

Second, there is no correct way to watch these movies. It does not matter because with each movie after X3, each movie kinda takes place in its own timeline anyway.

Nothing matters. These movies were once a hopeful representation of what comic book based movies could be.

Now they're just a modge podge of time loops and explosions.

So, pretty much what the Transformer franchise became.

So go ahead and watch these movies in literally any order. Any order at all. Nothing matters witht he X-Men movies any more.

They put the X-Men QuickSilver in Marvel and then that didn't even matter. So no, watch these movies in reverse, at random, or in the release date order.

Personally, my favorite will always be the first one. I love when the Senator just straight up melts on a table. I'm a twisted b*tch because I straight up laugh every time that happens. I do not approve of Wolverine and Jean Grays relationship vibes though. That's one couple that I think is toxic from the get go. She keeps shamelessly flirting and leading Logan on and Logan for sure does not care about Scotts feelings. I can understand her dilemma between Scott and Logan though. Scott, a sensitive, smart, thoughtful, brave, spicy vision impaired specimen. Logan, literally every persons dream wilderness, feral, beast of a man. Honestly, either of them could break me in half and I'd thank them.

Still, I do not approve of Logan/Jean dynamic. That's the one wrong opinion that you could possibly have about this franchise. If you think they belong together like as a true love "couple goals" power couple; put the crack down and join the land of the semi-sane. You probably also ship Harley Quinn and the Joker, and that's wrong. Very very wrong. But that is a whole other article, even though that should be an entire book called "Why You Don't Wanna Be This Couple".

I mean, what kind of maniac would watch these in reverse, but if that's your jam, go right ahead ya little weirdo.

The only other wrong opinion you are not allowed to have is that out of the above list I have so graciously provided, is that the Deadpool Movies are the best ones in this franchise. Although now Marvel has bought this whole franchise back thanks to the gluttonous Mickey Mouse becoming their Sugar Daddy.
