By Top RankedPublished 5 months ago • 6 min read

After five seasons of and the rise of , the world of Vought has introduced some of the most dangerous and unpredictable superpowered characters in television. From brutal hand-to-hand fighters to reality-breaking psychic threats, the power gap between characters has only continued to grow as the universe expanded.

This ranking looks at every character at their absolute strongest point shown throughout both series. Temporary power boosts, peak forms, strongest feats, statements, combat effectiveness, and overall threat level were all considered. Some characters may not have survived until the end, but at their peak, they still proved themselves among the strongest beings in the franchise.

43. Mesmer

Mesmer’s telepathic abilities allow him to read memories through physical contact, but beyond that, he has almost no combat value. Physically, he is essentially a regular human, making him one of the weakest Supes introduced in the series.

42. Ashley

Ashley survives primarily through manipulation, desperation, and sheer luck rather than actual strength. Even at her peak, she lacks the combat abilities needed to compete with almost anyone else on this list.

41. Doppelganger

Doppelganger’s shapeshifting abilities make him useful for deception and infiltration, but they offer little real offensive power. Against experienced fighters or stronger Supes, he is completely outmatched.

40. Sister Sage

Sister Sage possesses arguably the greatest intelligence in the entire franchise. Strategically, she is terrifying, but in terms of direct combat ability and raw physical power, she ranks near the bottom.

39. Frenchie

Frenchie is highly intelligent and resourceful, especially with weapons and explosives. However, without preparation, he struggles heavily against even lower-tier Supes.

38. Mother’s Milk

Mother’s Milk is an experienced fighter and excellent tactician, but he remains fully human. His survival skills and leadership help him stay relevant against far stronger opponents.

37. Sheline

Sheline demonstrates enhanced physical abilities compared to normal humans, though her feats remain fairly limited overall. She lacks the versatility and raw power needed to rank higher.

36. Popclaw

Popclaw’s enhanced strength and claw-based attacks make her dangerous in close combat situations. Unfortunately, her instability and relatively low durability prevent her from moving up the rankings.

35. Firecracker

Firecracker relies more on influence and manipulation than overwhelming power. Compared to most Supes, her abilities are fairly unimpressive.

34. Blue Hawk

Blue Hawk possesses enhanced strength and durability, but his overall feats are limited compared to stronger Supes. Against higher-tier opponents, he is quickly overwhelmed.

33. Gunpowder

Gunpowder’s elite marksmanship makes him dangerous from range, especially against weaker targets. Still, his dependence on weapons limits him heavily against stronger or faster opponents.

32. Hughie

At his strongest, Hughie temporarily gained powers that significantly increased his effectiveness in combat. Even so, he lacks the consistency and experience needed to compete with true top-tier Supes.

31. The Deep

The Deep’s aquatic communication abilities and underwater advantages make him unique, but outside of ocean environments, he falls behind stronger and more versatile Supes.

30. Dogknott

Dogknott has respectable powers compared to lower-tier Supes, though he lacks the major feats necessary to move beyond this range.

29. Tek Knight

Tek Knight’s intelligence, technology, and resources make him surprisingly dangerous. Even without overwhelming physical powers, his tactical approach allows him to compete with stronger opponents.

28. Emma

Emma’s size-shifting abilities give her incredible versatility in battle. Whether shrinking for stealth or growing into a giant powerhouse, she proves to be far more dangerous than many initially expected.

27. Lamplighter

Lamplighter’s pyrokinesis grants him devastating offensive potential capable of causing large-scale destruction. However, his durability and overall consistency keep him from climbing higher.

26. Translucent

Translucent’s nearly indestructible carbon skin makes him extremely difficult to damage. Combined with invisibility, he becomes a major threat despite limited offensive capabilities.

25. Kenji

Kenji’s telekinetic powers allow him to manipulate massive objects and unleash widespread destruction. His lower durability and lack of experience prevent him from moving into the upper tiers.

24. Crimson Countess

Crimson Countess possesses powerful energy blasts capable of dealing devastating damage. While offensively dangerous, she lacks the all-around dominance of stronger Supes.

23. Starlight

At her strongest, Starlight’s energy manipulation abilities become significantly more powerful than they were early in the series. Her offensive output and durability improve greatly over time.

22. Oh Father

Oh Father’s immense physical strength and durability make him a serious close-range threat. His raw power allows him to overpower many lower-tier Supes with ease.

21. Cate

Cate’s mind-control abilities are among the most dangerous powers in either series. With a single touch, she can completely dominate opponents mentally, making her an enormous threat despite lower physical stats.

20. Andre Anderson

Andre’s magnetic manipulation powers give him strong versatility in combat. He can manipulate metal objects creatively and effectively, though his durability holds him back from the top tiers.

19. Jordan Li

Jordan Li’s dual-form powers provide an excellent balance between offense and defense. Their versatility and combat effectiveness make them one of the strongest young Supes introduced in Gen V.

18. Black Noir 2

The second Black Noir is highly capable physically and extremely skilled in combat. While he does not fully reach the level of the original, he still proves himself as a dangerous fighter.

17. Kimiko

Kimiko’s regeneration, agility, and brutal fighting style make her incredibly difficult to stop permanently. Her healing factor alone allows her to outlast many opponents.

16. Cindy

Cindy’s telekinetic powers are terrifyingly destructive, allowing her to crush and manipulate targets effortlessly. Her offensive potential makes her one of the more underrated threats in the franchise.

15. Sam

Sam possesses overwhelming physical strength and durability that rival some of the strongest Supes in the universe. His unstable mental state is one of the few things keeping him from ranking even higher.

14. Golden Boy

Golden Boy combines devastating fire-based powers with elite physical strength and durability. At full power, he demonstrates some of the most explosive offensive feats in Gen V.

13. Polarity

Polarity’s magnetic manipulation abilities, combined with years of experience, make him an extremely formidable Supe. His control over metal gives him strong advantages in many combat scenarios.

12. Bombsight

Bombsight possesses massive destructive capability capable of causing widespread devastation. His sheer offensive power places him firmly among the upper-tier Supes.

11. Black Noir

The original Black Noir combines elite combat skill, stealth, durability, and enhanced strength into one terrifying package. He is one of the deadliest assassins in the entire franchise.

10. A-Train

At his peak, A-Train’s super speed makes him one of the most dangerous characters in the universe. Very few opponents are capable of reacting to him once he reaches full speed.

9. Victoria Neuman

Victoria Neuman’s ability to internally explode targets makes her one of the deadliest characters in the series. Her powers bypass durability in ways that make her dangerous against nearly anyone.

8. Queen Maeve

Queen Maeve proves repeatedly that she can compete directly with the strongest Supes alive. Her combination of strength, durability, and combat skill firmly places her among the elite.

7. Stormfront

Stormfront’s combination of lightning manipulation, flight, enhanced strength, and extreme durability make her one of the most complete powerhouses in the franchise.

6. Butcher

At his strongest, Butcher becomes an absolute monster capable of fighting elite Supes directly. His powers combined with his ruthless mentality make him one of the most dangerous characters in the series.

5. Thomas Godolkin

Thomas Godolkin’s psychic abilities are overwhelming in scale and power. Few characters possess mental abilities capable of matching the level of control and destruction he demonstrates.

4. Marie

Marie’s blood manipulation powers evolve into one of the most terrifying abilities in the franchise. Her versatility, precision, and offensive potential make her arguably the most dangerous young Supe introduced.

3. Soldier Boy

Soldier Boy combines overwhelming durability, immense physical strength, and devastating energy blasts capable of neutralizing other Supes entirely. In direct combat, very few characters can survive against him.

2. Ryan

Ryan’s potential surpasses almost every other character in the series. Even at a young age, his powers rival the strongest Supes ever created, and his ceiling appears even higher than Homelander’s.

1. Homelander

At his peak, Homelander stands as the most dominant Supe in the franchise. His unmatched combination of strength, speed, flight, durability, and heat vision make him the single most powerful character shown in either series.
