The astronomical rise of the YouTuber has seen an entirely supersonic inflation of profitability, notoriety and outlandish entertainment. It is a virtually inescapable phenomenon! Who could have predicted that the video sharing service would become a monumental colossus in developing globally recognisable influencers and luminaries, capable of transforming gaming commentaries, tutorials and vlogs into inconceivable wealth? Currently, it is perfectly acceptable to witness YouTube aficionados unleashing thunderbolts in a boxing ring, surging into the UK Top 40 charts, making the headlines with undignified controversies or possibly even presenting intentionally inflammatory content for protracted publicity? Here is a list of the ten most upper crust YouTubers.

Jeffree Star ($15M):

He began his career, became an internet headliner and initiated one of the most predominant makeup enterprises of the last decade, and it’s reasonable to suggest Jeffree Star has been richly compensated for his efforts! Having also experimented with some temporary musical endeavours featuring Nicki Minaj, Jeffree’s revered YouTube channel includes makeup tutorials, reviews and plenty of the unenviable rumour debunking videos that are synonymous with the mysteriously mercurial industry!

David Dobrik ($15.5M):

This insanely popular prankster once married his friends Mum for a full month as part of a long running joke! Initially finding success on Vine before migrating to YouTube, David Dobrik has amassed millions of fans and millions of dollars by performing shenanigans equally as entertaining as they are preposterous, such as driving a convertible through a car wash. However, he is now shifting his focus towards TikTok!

Blippi, Stevin John ($17M):

He’s passionate, exuberant, colourfully clad and making a myriad of money, Blippi entertains and educates the youthful viewer. He has also embarked on a mountainous merchandise organisation where the Blippi enthusiast can waltz away with replicas of his iconic orange blinkers or the blue and orange beret if you’re fashionable enough! Not to mention, lucrative partnerships with Hulu and Amazon supplement the salary agreeably.

Nastya, Anastasia Radzinskaya ($18.5M):

This YouTube channel is all about a seven-year-old and her father completing the household chores, elaborating on viruses and assembling Lego constructions. Featuring vividly stimulating colourations, simplistic language and that all-encompassing emotive entertainment factor, Nastya has become the benchmark in catering for a global audience of whippersnappers. Like the majority of the contemporary juveniles however, executing the transfer to TikTok is the consequent advancement in the predestined passage to prominence.

Preston Arsement ($19M):

The powers of the pixelated pastime, Preston knows about it! He has established his wildly successful YouTube empire by exploring the Minecraft minefield as well as the Call of Duty battleground. It is indeed Minecraft, though, where Mr. Arsement garners elaborate earnings, with similarly minded users forking out to access worlds he has created, as well as paying for the privilege of in-game items.

Markiplier, Mark Fischbach ($19.5M):

Boasting over 24 million subscribers, over 7 billion total video views and being the 14th most supported channel on YouTube, Markiplier has firmly established himself as a powerhouse performer within the online landscape. Specializing in gameplay commentaries, (commonly survival horror experiences and action adventures) impossible challenges (think diabolically fiery pepper consumption and various other questionable trials) and some sketch comedy, Mark is similarly celebrated for his charitable generosity and continued interactions with his legions of fans.

Rhett and Link ($20M):

A comedy duo and self-proclaimed Intertainers, Rhett and Link are predominantly recognised for creating and hosting the YouTube series Good Mythical Morning. However that’s certainly not all. They have dabbled fruitfully in ventures including pioneering their own comedic songs and sketches, producing YouTube Premium content, starting a podcast, writing a novel and their acquisition of Smosh. They’ve got fingers in pies!

Dude Perfect ($23M):

Dude Perfect is an American sports and comedy group, headquartered in Texas. Formerly college roommates at Texas A&M University, the entourage consists of twins Coby and Cory Cotton, Garrett Hilbert, Cody Jones and Tyler Toney. If you’re an admirer of audacious trick shots and elaborate stunts spliced with upbeat music, Dude Perfect is the channel for you. Also prominent, is the uploading of various battle videos. Individual members of the clique will compete against one another in games usually featuring creative and innovative modifications of conventional sports. It’s a blast!

MrBeast, Jimmy Donaldson ($24M):

Part YouTuber, part philanthropist, MrBeast knows how to play the game. Typically, his videos feature outrageous stunts, incomparably benevolent donations and the hosting of various competitions contributing magnanimous plunder. He has sacrificed a day counting to 100,000, attempted to fragmentise glass with megaphones, tormented himself studying dehydrating paint and unsuccessfully endeavoured to metamorphose into a subaquatic species for 24 hours. He also jointly launched Team Trees, with a tree being planted for every dollar received in donation, equating to over 22 million, and possesses an app, MrBeast Burger!

Ryan Kaji ($29.5M):

Meet the nine-year-old millionaire! His YouTube channel, controlled by his parents of course, incorporates unboxing videos, toy reviews and personal vlogs, with unbelievably lucrative dividends! The Kaji’s influence is monumental, with Ryan’s novelty inspections continually altering the sale successes of particular toys. He also possesses his own range of playthings, branded as Ryan’s World, in cooperation with PocketWatch and Bonkers Toys. The Kaji empire keeps on expanding!
