The Baldwin Family Will Have a Holiday Reunion on 'The Young and the Restless'

Fame 10 spoiler alerts are reporting that The Young and the Restless just tweeted confirmation of Zack Tinker's return. The actor has not been seen since his character, Fenmore went off on a concert tour. He was mentioned briefly when Adam blackmailed Michael with the information that his son was using drugs again. DA Baldwin said he was going to crush the prodigal son and Lauren went into mama bear mode swearing to destroy Victor Newman's namesake. Excited viewers thought this indicated that the Baldwin family would be front and center in a hot storyline but the plot soon fizzled. It was mentioned that Fenmore was in treatment and Michael and Lauren were relegated to back burner status once more. Adam continues to be utilized heavily while Michael and Lauren are nowhere to be seen.

No first air date or plot has been given for Zack Tinker. All that The Young and the Restless has mentioned at this time, is that he will be home for the holidays. There was no specific mention of Thanksgiving or Christmas but it's probably most likely that Fenmore will be back in Genoa City for the December festivities. Prior to his exit, Lauren and Michael's son was battling with Devon and Ana regarding control over his career. Devon is currently embroiled in the situation related to his grandmother's will and has not even mentioned his record label recently. His other client Tessa has not been around in a while because her portrayer Cat Fairbanks is not longer on contract. Fen's parents are not involved in any of the recent happenings that are taking place on the CBS daytime drama, so it will be interesting to find out how they will be utilized once he returns.

Currently on The Young and the Restless the Abbott family is dealing with finding out that Theo is Dina's grandson, Billy is battling his dark side, and Kyle trying to be a good husband to Lola. The Newmans are all still in one way or another attempting to pull away from Adam. Celeb Dirty Laundry is also reporting Fenmore Baldwin's return to Genoa City. They don't have any details but suggest that Fen's backstory will soon be revealed that will explain what got him to this point. Perhaps when his parents find out what led to his relapse it could be tied to Adam and then finally Michael and Lauren can obtain their revenge. The scenes with Kevin and his older brother were epic, when they were discussing how each was under Adam Newman's thumb. Y&R viewers love the Abbott's and Newman's but the Fisher/Baldwin bunch deserves to be utilized as well.

There have also been rumors that Judith Chapman may return to The Young and the Restless as Gloria. If this comes to pass it would be the icing on the cake. The family matriarch is a barracuda, who also has a humorous side. Loyal viewers would truly enjoy seeing more of Gloria, Michael, Kevin. Lauren. Chloe, and Fenmore. These talented actors should be given material worthy of their individual and collective abilities. They should be able to have the air time that would solidify them as the powerful group of people they are.

Soap Dirt spoilers for the rest of the month do not even mention the Baldwin family. They talk about Colin Atkinson returning, Chance Chancellor, Phyllis, Nick, Chelsea and Adam. Perhaps by the time some of these storylines are wrapped up, it will be near Fenmore's return and the Baldwin's will be back in action. The Young and the Restless viewers have a lot of say so in what happens in Genoa City. Due to the outcry from disgruntled fans, Mal Young was fired as head writer and Doug Davidson was brought back as Paul Williams. Those who enjoy Michael and Lauren and their extended family should make as much noise as those who did not like what went on during Young's tenure and demand their favorite characters receive more air time.

The Young and the Restless will be preempted on November 19 and 20 because of the impeachment hearings. This may cause a delay in scheduled programming so check your local listings.
