Film Review: 'The Curse of Hobbes House'

Film Review: 'The Curse of Hobbes House'

Things couldn't get much worse for Jane Dormant (Mhairi Calvey): evicted, fired, and reduced to living out of her car. But just when Jane is at the end of her rope, she receives a call from solicitor Eurydice Saul (Jo Price) telling her that her aunt Alexandra (Emma Spurgin Hussey) has died and she is summoned to her isolated manor--known as Hobbes House--for the reading of her will. Also in attendance is Alexandra's groundskeeper Naser (Waleed Elgadi), Jane's estranged half-sister Jennifer (Makenna Guyler), and Jennifer's partner Nigel (Kevin Leslie).

Class Movie Review: Day of the Dead

Class Movie Review: Day of the Dead

I’ve long had problems with zombie movies. I had tried to couch these problems in aesthetic issues or complaints about the lack of believability in the notion of the dead rising from the grave but I was aware that that was a silly argument. The reality of my issue with zombies is quite simply knowing that I am the last person who would ever survive the zombie apocalypse. I am hopelessly, woefully unprepared for any apocalypse really, let alone one that involves the dead rising from their graves.

My Review of "Land of the Dead"

My Review of "Land of the Dead"

Land of the Dead seems like a mindless zombie movie but there is a little more to this movie than just zombies. I have to admit that the zombies were the draw to me for this movie but they aren't the main emphasis of this movie. It turned out to be a deeper movie than I had anticipated and I appreciate the effort they put into this movie.

Is 'The Walking Dead' Going on for Too Long?

Is 'The Walking Dead' Going on for Too Long?

The Walking Dead first started its run in 2010, and is beginning its ninth season this October. Although it has maintained its popularity, some fans are wondering if the show has overstayed its welcome.

    Just Breathe

    Just Breathe

If anyone told you what would you do if there was a zombie apocalypse, what would you say? Would you be the judging one and say that, "It wouldn't happen. It only happens in movies." Maybe you would be the one that tells their plan of how they will survive? No matter who you are, you should always be prepared for an attack or any survival scene. For example, your stuck on an island, there's a nuclear attack or my favorite the zombie apocalypse. It was one of my favorites until it happens for real.

'Fear the Walking Dead' and 'The Walking Dead' Crossover?

'Fear the Walking Dead' and 'The Walking Dead' Crossover?

At New York Comic Con on Saturday night, Robert Kirkman (an American comic book writer) revealed an extremely tempting prospect for the glorious months to come: a crossover episode between The Walking Dead and its prequel, Fear the Walking Dead. Even though Fear the Walking Dead was uniquely carefully designed to stand on its own. Robert correctly states that Fear the Walking Dead has grasped the point where it has its own identity. Kirkman loves to tease, but rest assured: Presently there was precisely a small crossover between both successful shows. When Morgan, who formerly was in The Walking Dead crossed over to Fear the Walking Dead. Fans have been a bit upset about losing Morgan. Even though many people thought Morgan was been killed off in The Walking Dead, in my opinion, Morgan splits from Rick’s group after the Negan War and heads west and a time jump will allow the Fear crew to catch up so this will work with the timelines.

Must Have Emergency Kits to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse

Must Have Emergency Kits to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse

I’m always telling my son Jarret: humanity isn’t prepared for climate change. Too much of the world is already Children of Men and there’s a chance we’re going to end up in The Road. If that happens, Jarret knows he's going to need to steal emergency kits. They will be the new currency. They’re packaged with everything you need to survive but they’re made to be portable. Nothing else is built that way. Jarret just says, “Dad, that’s not going to happen,” and then I say, “That’s exactly what they said about President Sex Criminal.” And then Jarret tells me to stop texting him links about emergency kits and to stop telling him Children of Men is already happening.

Why do we Love 'Z nation'?

Why do we Love 'Z nation'?

Firstly, I'd like to cite Wikipedia: "Z Nation is an American action/horror/comedy-drama/post-apocalyptic television series that airs on Syfy, created by Karl Schaefer and Craig Engler, and produced by The Asylum." Essentially, we are talking about a zombie TV show.
