The Netflix Paradox: Netflix's Lack of Quality Control
Netflix has been on an absolute tear in producing streamable content for a handful of years now, and it only seems like things are just getting started for the subscription service. Within the last two years alone, Netflix has been talked up as being a competitor to the movie theater industry due to finally evolving into being a competent production company. Their partnering with directors Duncan Jones and Noah Baumbach would make Netflix appear to be on the right track in making movie theaters a thing of the past. On a personal level, I never bought into the proposition that Netflix could even come close to replicating what is experienced at your nearest theater. On a general consensus level, the hype seemed to be settling in with Netflix becoming that opposing force against movie theaters across the globe. Discussion was circulating about Netflix acquiring Paramount’s 'Cloverfield' franchise and now it really seemed like Netflix was making big moves to be considered a serious contender for being the industry’s most bold production company. As you know, Netflix shocked the world in dropping the premier trailer for The Cloverfield Paradox during Super Bowl 52, along with announcing that the film would be readily available for it’s subscribers following the conclusion of the game. Leading up to my viewing of Cloverfield Paradox, I was ready to submit myself to the train that championed Netflix as the contender it could be, but after February’s two critical flops, Netflix clearly has no grip on their quality control.

A Drama That Defines All Kinds of Sentiment
The name itself gives us an insight of the heartwarming series which is a family drama packed full of emotions. It starts off by showing a fact that, “According to Wikipedia, the average human being shares his or her birthday with over 18 million other human beings. There is no evidence that sharing the same birthday creates any type of behavioural link between these people. If there is, Wikipedia hasn’t discovered it for us yet.” This line sparks an interest within to how the story might be linked to the fact. We get introduced to the different characters celebrating the same birthday.

And now, he’s created his own line of coffees. The Breakfast Blend tastes like the best cup of diner coffee I’ve ever had, which is what we all know Luke serves. So, if you haven’t already, place an order for any of Scotty P’s coffees and binge watch some Gilmore Girls.

The Ponies Are Awesome
I won't deny it. I love My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. The show has good moral values about making friends, such as understanding someone's point of view and not to judge a book by its cover. Believe it or not, the show was made for toddlers and young girls. Teens and adults watch the shows as well. I wasn't sure why I began to watch. As soon as I watched the first episode, I was hooked. The show was different from the early 1980s version, where the beginning of every event the ponies fought a monster a demon or a witch that wanted to make them slaves.

Shows Everyone Needs to Watch
Almost too often I have those days where I finish a show I was currently watching, just to have no idea of what I should start to watch next. I like to watch a variety of different genres, but usually not the same type back to back. Unfortunately, in my “recommended shows,” I am only referenced to other shows which are eerily similar to the one I just finished. Sadly, I scroll through the selections, just to get overwhelmed by all the choices I have, and get too annoyed reading the pilot synopsis that I scroll back to my “watch again” category and decide from there what show I will rewatch, AGAIN.

Top Ten 'Grey’s Anatomy' Characters
10. Callie Torres Callie came in to the show in season 2 and stole everyone’s hearts from the beginning. She became more loved as we watched her find her sexuality and later marry the love of her life Arizona Robbins. It broke viewer's hearts when they got a divorce and were fighting over custody of their daughter, Sofia. In the end they both decided it was best if Sofia had both her mothers but Callie went on to live in New York at the end of season 12. We just hope she’s happy.

3 Times the "Friends" Were Terrible Friends
I remember hearing someone say that Friends defined a decade, and maybe that's true. Maybe this show will live on long after age has rendered us incapable of using Netflix. It's fun, it's hilarious, and people are still debating whether or not "We were on a break!" is a valid defense.
