Fan and critic reactions to last year's X-Men: Apocalypse were mixed, but all agreed that there was one stand-out: Olivia Munn's Psylocke. Sporting a remarkably comic-book-accurate look, Munn shone as the ninja assassin, but sadly she didn't really play a major role. Now, though, evidence is building that suggests Psylocke may be due to return in next year's X-Men: Dark Phoenix!

For Iron Man fans, half the excitement of every Marvel movie is getting a glimpse of the latest armor. Tony Stark is a genius, and there's nothing he loves more than reinventing the wheel. That means every single Marvel film features Stark wearing a whole new set of armor, with powers and abilities like nothing we've seen before.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is a Marvel movie like no other. Jon Watts is incredibly aware that he's dealing with the ultimate legacy character, a hero whose adventures have been chronicled nonstop in comics since 1962's Amazing Fantasy #15. At the same time, though, he's also conscious that this is the third iteration of the wall-crawler we've seen since 2002, and Amazing Spider-Man 2 was only released three years ago. As a result, Homecoming takes a very different approach to adapting the comics than anything we've seen before.
Last year at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios left fans delighted by revealing concept art from Thor: Ragnarok. The images were never released online, but Marvel's liveblog of the event noted that they included the fire demon Surtur. It's definitely appropriate for Surtur to be involved in the film — after all, he features heavily in the Norse poem Völuspá, which tells the tale of Ragnarok.
Marvel's latest tour de force, Spider-Man: Homecoming is an exuberant adventure that firmly embeds Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the ongoing narrative of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But the story raises a lot of questions about just how it relates to the wider MCU, so it's time to do a deep-dive and see how we can fit this film into the overall continuity...
With Thor: Ragnarok due out on November 3rd, superhero fans will be none-too-surprised to hear that Marvel's marketing operation has gone into overdrive. Today, for example, the House of Ideas released seven stunning new character posters. Together, these posters are a stylish reminder of the incredible visuals we're expecting from Taiki Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok.
Back in August, there were surprising reports that Warner Bros. was working with Martin Scorsese on a standalone Joker movie. In an even more incredible twist, we learned that this wouldn't even be part of the shared cinematic universe that DC Film has been building since 2011's Man of Steel. The news launched intense debate among superhero fans, with many arguing that your average moviegoer is already confused by the sheer volume of superhero universes hitting the box office right now. So how would Warner Bros. handle this new Joker project?
Alas, poor Crossbones. The ill-fated warrior was introduced in Captain America: Civil War, but didn't last long in Civil War. The last few months have seen repeated rumors that Frank Grillo's character will return in the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4, and now we have a fresh tease. It turns out that Grillo is indeed in Atlanta, where the production is currently filming, after all.
Sony's Spider-Man spinoff movies remain something of a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. There are rumors galore, but precious few details have been confirmed. Frankly, at this stage, we don't even know whether or not these films will even become part of the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.
These are interesting times for the film industry, and the latest reports suggest they could yet get stranger. According to CNBC, Disney is looking to expand once again, and this time they've actually set their sights on rival studio 21st Century Fox. Fox is said to believe that a more tightly-knit, focused property would be more competitive in the current market. As a result, the two companies entered into talks to sell both the movie studio and "significant TV production assets."
Created by Walt Simonson in 1983's Thor #337, Beta Ray Bill is a powerful alien being, and one of the few to prove worthy to wield Thor's hammer Mjolnir. Simonson created the character to subvert comic book tropes; he knew that readers would expect Bill's visage to be the face of a monster, so turning him into an unexpected hero left fans thrilled.
Avengers: Infinity War promises to be an all-action heist movie in which the world's heroes struggle to protect the world from the threat of Thanos, the Mad Titan. But right now, we have simply no idea what to expect from Avengers 4, due to release on May 3rd, 2019. Will it simply continue Thanos's arc? Will the Celestials be involved? Will we have a "Secret Invasion?" There are fan theories a-plenty, but precious few facts.
