How Can Marvel Use The X-Men?
For the past twelve years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a mutant-free zone. And attempts to turn the Inhumans into the MCU's take on mutants ended up falling flat. But now that Disney has purchased many Fox assets, including the film rights to the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, Marvel has the chance to introduce mutants. The question everyone asks is, "is it too late?"
Percival ConstantinePublished 4 years ago in Geeks Why Batman is a Violent, Narcissistic Villain
Everybody loves Batman. Men want to be him, people of a variety of genders and sexual identities want to date him, because quite frankly, why wouldn't they? Batman is tall, rich, got a company worth a gazillion dollars, and an English butler! He literally has it all. He is everything we hope to be, and everything we hope to obtain. The irony being, just like most of us have an inability to appreciate what we have sometimes, Batman, or Bruce Wayne rather, depressingly broods like an angsty teenager.

By now, you've probably read all the headlines about Arrow's series finale becoming the branching off point for John Diggle (David Ramsey) to start a new adventure of his own. And Diggle's next journey includes some rather astonishing developments.
How will Marvel respond to DC beating them to the punch with an unprecedented crossover?
During the latest crossover between The CW's superhero shows, The Flash's Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) came face-to-face with his doppelganger from DC's Cinematic Universe. The other Barry (Ezra Miller) only appeared for a few seconds but the instance was unprecedented.
2020 and why it's the year of the Wally West resurrection!
Growing up one of my first encounters with superheroes was the Justice League and the Justice League Unlimited cartoons. I would watch those shows religiously and although Superman was my standout favourite superhero, a trend which has stuck with me through my entire life, The Flash was always a character I felt invested in. Wally West, voiced by Michael Rosenbaum, felt larger than life and his role in the cartoon played a huge role in The Flash being one of the first ever comic books I would go on to read.
The Comic Book ComplexPublished 4 years ago in GeeksWhat Would the Marvel Movies Be Like Without the Superhero Sub Genre?
I enjoy watching Superhero movies, but what happens if you take away the superhero genre in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), what would you get?
Rand EinfeldtPublished 4 years ago in GeeksDCTV’s The Flash Most Popular ‘Ships’
To start, for those who may not know, let’s define the term ‘ship’. In the world of fandom, romantic relationships between characters are called ‘ships’. To ‘ship’ characters is to want to see them romantically involved. While ‘ships’ can be platonic, the vast majority are not. This can apply to canon relationships within the fandom, or to characters who were never in a relationship, or even hate each other. Fans of a particular fandom will generally show their love or support of a ‘ship’ through creating fan art and fan fiction. Those less creatively inclined will go looking for fan art and fan fiction, enjoying what fellow fans have created.
Erin O'NeilPublished 4 years ago in GeeksWho Would Win? John Wick or Neo?
With the new release dates for both The Matrix 4, and John Wick 4 being on the same day, May 21, 2021; it got me wondering. Who would win in a fight? The one and only, Neo from The Matrix, or the dog loving Boogieman, John Wick from the John Wick franchise?

Joseph MicalizioPublished 4 years ago in GeeksThese Aren't Your Dad's Superheroes
Remember those Batman and Superman guys. Pretty lame right. And even those Marvel movies are all the same. I mean I watched a video essay where a guy told me as much, how they all look generic and grey and have shitty music that all sounds the same. But my parents love all that generic mass market cape shit. Even my grandma thinks she’s cool because she knows who Groot and Rocket Racoon are, but you know what I’m sick of it because
Isaac ShapiroPublished 4 years ago in Geeks'Wonder Woman: Bloodlines' Managed to Make a Wonder Woman Fan Out of Me
Here we are again with the DC animated universe. I do not even have the slightest idea of how profitable these movies are but honestly, if these movies ever get the mainstream push that the DCEU gets then they will elevate this market to a level never seen in superhero animation. Now I am not saying that Wonder Woman: Bloodlines would be the movie to do it but it certainly would bring well-deserved attention to the DCAU(Dc Animated Universe). By no means is Wonder Woman: Bloodlines a bad movie, but if a few things here and there were changed it would go from good to great. THIS IS A SPOILER REVIEW MOSTLY BECAUSE I DON'T THINK THE STORY IS WHERE THE MOVIES SHINES SO IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE IT ON YOUR OWN BE WARNED.
